Does the soviet union always lose?

We have achieve soviet win by the 4th objective with Operation 2cheeki2breeki

Also turns out the TOZ is actually pretty good in zerg vs zerg combat because you can critically damage multiple people in 1 shot, while there’s enough teammates around to cover your 3-day reloads. You only expose yourself for a half second and aim in someone’s general direction to shoot, then pop back into cover.

One of the reasons why I love these shotguns.

I just wanna YEET.

Half tempted to fill my assaulter squad with nothing but TOZ, but I also don’t want to lose the range I can pull off with semi-auto PPDs

everyone gangstar, until the rusky pulls out shotguns and ppds.

those pesky neighbours will think twice before invading the wrong country.

Me and two of my friends tried the Soviets with all of us coordinating together. It still wasn’t enough to win most of the matches, the state of the Soviet playerbase is pathetic right now. There’s gotta be more incentive to try something else other than the Germans. Currently Germans win practically every match now, and it’s so boring to play as them because there’s little competition. It’s weird because the Soviet have some very cool guns to use, primarily bolt action rifles.

I recently joined this game and I bought both the Russian and German premium packs. I regularly play both my Russian and my German squads and I enjoy playing both sides. I actually win quite a few games while playing Russians. In the end I find it more fun learning weapons and tactics from both sides since I am a true WW2 military history hobbyist. Add to that some real military background serving as an officer in the reserves some years ago.

In order to support this game to continue to develop and be successful I think it is important for players to also play the Russian side more to make the game truly balanced.

I think XP should not be shared between nations in this game but maybe some sort of incentive to play Russian side more could be to offer a premium weapon, like a rifle for free once you have progressed up to level 4 in the campaign.

Have a good one out there and well met on the field of valor!

I think the same thing if it’s mixed with forcing players to queue both teams, if only until a better alternative is available. Of course that would also warrant a wipe which would make plenty of players butthurt.

I tried queueing both, but I found it’s much easier to main one because otherwise it’s easy to forget what team you’re on and misidentify other players as friendly or enemy.
Tried going back to Germany for a little bit after being a Russian main, but I had trained myself to disregard anyone in a Russian uniform, and didn’t take a lot of shots I should have.

Where is that GIF from? What Show or Movie?

This is a scene from Dneprovskiy rubezh
You can check Panfilov’28 - this is more or less that was happened during the Battle of Moscow

THERE YOU GO. As I was saying.

Anyway, ALSO - There are just too many tanks, on most maps! Smaller maps like Beloe Lake or Pokrovskoe - 2 tanks roaming around at once, per team, is way too much.

Like on Beloe Lake - 2 tanks will just roam into spawn areas, which are completely open. Or roam around cap points, which tanks can machine gun THRU the buildings.

Also, even if you kill one, or 2 or 3. They just keep spawning. Like on my Soviet games - I kill 2-3 tanks almost every freaking game, and they just keep coming. Half the match you are trying to kill of tanks, instead of capping points and assaulting.

Again - how can devs fail this? EVERY fcking WW2 game OP’s tanks, obviously. And yet, these devs do the same effing thing… This is very basic - obviously tanks in FPS context are OP. DOH

My suggestion - limit tanks to 1 spawn per team, instead of 2. Then tankers will learn to stay close to their teams, and support. Instead of roaming spawns.

Tankers will get burned quickly, and learn to stay away.

Right now - it’s just compete anarchy. 2 tanks spawns basically means you can retard overwhelm anything, spawning one tank after another. Which is what GE side is actively doing.

why do people like you, never thinks about drawbacks of their own decisions.

don’t get me wrong, it’s not an insult.

but many people included you, never realize how much they are putting much power in strangers.

the reason why i’m saying this,
it’s that it’s an awefull idea.

limit one tank per team it’s gonna be a nightmare.
just because you put limit for the tanker numbers, you are not gonna fix the problem, but insthead, create another. as a free to play, many people will play this game, and i have to remind you that some people that are just there to " troll " or people that does not how to play tanks, may make the entire game lose for their team, as most of the time they rush, or stay back being a rock, and barely hitting something.

if you want them to learn, they ain’t gonna lear that much if they die uh?

so, no, i don’t think this is an actual fix.

not to mention, i’ll rather avoid situations like battlefield of star wars battlefront where pesky people just wait 3 hours just to get the tank for them selves doing nothing in the meanwhile.

so, i prefer having the current system. where if someone fucks up, at least someone else can somewhat, adjust the flaw that the other tank leaved.

cheers.

I might have read his opinion wrong but I think my understanding of it wouldn’t be bad idea.

Instead of limiting tanks per field simultaneously, it should be tank that can be fielded by a player per match. This will force players to be much more careful while operating a tank since you can’t field another one again. So, you have to stay away from infantry as much as you can. Ideally, you need an infantry squad supporting you. And to make sure that you survive against a tank, it’s best to flank or just make sure you don’t get into that kind of situation.

Unlike now, there will be no shortage of tanks when the game hits OBT. But to understand whether this restriction is necessary, we need the game played by a lot more players.

Although, I do agree that 3 tanks fielded simulatenously is not great either. They can easily close of a point and in some maps, remove enemy reinforcements right at their spawn. Maps are too small to have that many tanks in the field at once tbh.

yes, but you have to define criterias.

limitations, are no fun for anyone if not in terms of balance.

this sounds… dumb to me. making the whole progression for tankers a nightmare even more.

exept, they can’t. as manpower is needed elsewhere. and most of the time, those guy get shot.

this is why the infantry support can only be somewhat archieved staying at the front line with the soldiers as techncally, it’s their second job.

agreed. but as i said before, putting a tank in hands of someone that is not capable, it’s just a problem. he might learn, but there’s also the risk that he might not. so this is why having two tanks, it’s better than limiting to only one. if they screw up, ther’s always someone else to recover.

yeah, the main problem for the soviet it’s playerbase, not having numbers to play with. so yeah, i also think that OBT will solve this issue in no time.

i think 2 were good enough.

and yes, on moscow for some reason, maps are small.
we’ll might see an expansion viewing the last report from normandy.

cheers.

limting one tank is same as that of having a single hero in star wars battlefront who play thier heroes as t=like as if they are afk
