It would be good to have bigger battlefields but judging by past updates imo it’s unlikely.

It wouldn’t be the first time devs release an update that is great “in the void” but doesn’t fit the game.

Theres quite many maps with silly ass chokepoints, getting radio past those chokes can be quite game changer.

30m isn’t noticeable as a bigger map unless you only have a monkey brain.

I wrote 30m as an example as I’m not sure if you can process higher numbers.

A bit more realistic number is probably about 60-80m in depth. It may be enough to allow small squads to encircle the enemy while not turning the game into walking sim.
