you have a full assault squad. you want to play it in br2. you gear them all with mp38s. they are a br2 squad.
now you want to play that full assault squad in br3. you gear them all with mp40s. or one mp40 and the rest, mp38s. they are a BR3 squad. same weapon, but different battlefront options.
if you want to mish mash the mps, you sure can. but the difference in BR allows to play with the same weapon, by itself, in different BRs. choices is what prevents stagnant gameplay. stagnant gameplay leads to population lost to boredom.
ah i see, you havent read the entire post! let me do some kind of TLDR for you:
followed by:
which one of those points, would you say, is the main point of the post, and which is an example to ilustrate the situation, and not the main topic and issue?
and picking which particular line to argue about, the main point of discussion or the completely side example given for context, could be considered nitpicking?
The best advice everyone is giving new players right now is “Do not go above BR 2”, and it’s pretty much the best advice, because if the bloke buys something for BR 3 and doesn’t know what happens, he’ll be very surprised when he gets sent to a BR 5 match and gets dumpstered on.
It’s the new meta basically, you stick to BR 2 equipment until you have everything you could get for that BR, then you plan out if you’re gonna jump up to BR 3 and play roulette or if you’ll stick to BR 2 forever until you have enough BR 4 and 5 equipment unlocked to be safe into higher BRs.
I still state that the game needs one more queue, either BR 3 only faces other BR 3s (making the mid section of the game far more balanced and it would discourage people seal clubbing others), or we get a BR 6, we just need a new queue for something.
Still stupid.
You can still use a BR2 weapon in BR3 matches but not really a BR3 weapon in restricted BR2 matches.
Not really what I would call more choices if it limits the range of weapons (for no reason).
No reason given to make guns with same stats different BR.
