Red red orchestra, two red orchestra to was released in 2011 or 12 years ago and rising storm two was released in 2017 or 6 years ago even 6 years is old for a game not to mention how old a 12 year old game is there are people playing in enlisted that were born after Reddit orchestra two came out. If you look at the number of players when the games were in their prime read orchestra two and rising storm two, probably had higher amounts of players
Not really.
I really don’t think it’s that bad, unless you are using machineguns while moving.
Which make sense because you’re moving.
Which HMG are you talking about?
I’ve only used the DShK and it’s not bad at all.

no it never was do you want me to embarrass rising storm as well
You see the issue with shooting an automatic smooth-bore musket in a game based on World War 2, where every gun was rifled so that the bullets would hit what they were aimed at (if sighted correctly)?
It doesn’t matter if the DShk dispersion is terrible or not; it is there and affecting the game in a negative way. Shoot the other HMGs if you don’t believe me.
The only thing dispersion is doing is punishing players for holding a defensive line and the concept of a kill zone.
And the only one who really benefit from dispersion are running gun lunatics because they don’t have this problem because the gun is in your face and hard to miss when you’re that close.
LOL, the sweats end up using the dispersion to hit more troops because bullets will go everywhere, not where you aim them.
its a matter of balance and numbers, in ww2 rifles grossly outnumbered all other weapons, machine guns light and heavy, shotguns and SMG
NEARLY 4M JUST AGARANDS
2.75 machine guns, but
this includes
100,000 fighters at four per at least 400,000
100,000 bombers at least six per 600,000
100,000 tanks at two per 200,000 god knows how many ships and fixed guns
A February 1944 Table of organization and equipment[2] on a US Army WWII weapons company:
- 28-man Company Headquarters, two Machine Gun platoons and a Mortar platoon.
- The Company HQ was armed with a single .50 caliber M2 Browning heavy machine gun
- The Machine Gun platoons were each made up of a six-man HQ and two 15-man Machine Gun sections, each section armed with two .30 caliber M1919 Browning machine guns. Each platoon would be armed with four .30 caliber machine guns, for a total of eight .30 caliber machine guns in the whole company. A total of 36 men in each machine gun platoon.
- The Mortar Platoon was made up of a six-man HQ and three 18-man mortar sections, each section armed with two 81mm M1 mortars. A total of six mortars and 60 men. A significant proportion of these 60 men were ammunition bearers.
- The HQs for the three platoons were also armed with two Bazooka rocket launchers each. A total of six Bazookas in the whole company.
- A full-strength Weapons Company had 160 men in total, including eight officers. Apart from the special weapons, 82 of the men were issued with the light M1 carbine and 44 being issued the heavier M1 Garand rifle. 30 of those armed with the M1 rifle were also issued with the M7 and M8 grenade launcher. The remaining 34 men were armed with the M1911 pistol as their sidearm.
that’s 8 out of 126 so maxed out three squads 27 men gives you less then one mg
if
we are
keeping it
real
AMERICA
this is a game and i think we’re more talking about end game at this point and this fantasy weapons ending up in berlin as well for the soviets and at this point i think balance is out the window.
I agree that’s a problem, they should reduce dispersion when crouched, prone, or braced. When you’re sitting still and aiming down the sights the dispersion should progressively go down as well.
Mounted mgs should have a tighter dispersion when aiming down the sights. They need to balance them by limiting ammunition and forcing reloads. An animation to change the barrel during overheat would be nice as well
It would be a shame if all of America’s MGs were smooth-bore automatic muskets in WW2.
And it would be a double shame if all the semi-automatic rifles would never let you shoot multiple rounds in quick succession and only as fast as your commander (devs) in WW2.
It would be a triple shame if the M1 Garand and the MGs in WW2 shot .308 but didn’t kill the enemy with one shot like the almighty Springfield 1903, which shoots .308, the same round as the MGs and M1 Garand shoots.
Stop it; you know dispersion is the issue, and there is no reason it should be in the game. Dispersion wouldn’t be needed if recoil was corrected and the bullets went where they were aimed (if sighted correctly). They just don’t want to do it because it would require them to stop forcing people to buy stuff with gold and get XP multipliers. After all, they want to squeeze out as much dough as possible, just like warthunder.
Dispersion = lazy way to implement sway and recoil
they’re trying to accommodate for running gun lunatics and if dispersion wasn’t a thing you be dead because you ran into a kill zone.
no there preventing it from becoming a laser that would allow a mg to cover half of some maps
that’s what a sniper is for you’re meant to take out the enemy machine gun nest.
Really? I thought I was agreeing with you. I guess if you want to argue you can.
I think some dispersion is fine, but I think it’s too much in places and there should be ways to mitigate it as I’ve already mentioned. I think just saying take it all away isn’t an argument that darkflow will listen to, but I’m not in charge of anything so good luck with that.
prevent from being lazer
actually many guns like FG/STG/Fedorov ALREADY cover half of maps in no scope. stupid cretinic idiotic dispersion is mostly noticeable at lower tier guns
Funny that WWII tank gun, the german 88mm has an accuracy of 2.5x2.5m grouping over 1km distance
The Mauser rifle even in modern day has a grouping of modern weapon accuracy depending the user, spread is never a thing after rifled barrel, I mean modern tank gun use smoothbore and still can land shots accurately over 4km distance using primitive HEAT round
Well for comparison sake let’s see the number for rising storm and enlisted too
