If you are not happy about the zoom without the scope, then you can remove the scope from sniper StG-44 manually

You can try it for yourself. Press right-mouse button. If you don’t have this weapon, you can try Lee-Enfield No.4 Mki (T) or any Springfield.
This is what you’re gonna see.
I know what I will see and that is why I do not use this type of zoom. I use the scope-zoom for a long distance and no zoom (hip-firing) for close combat.

And never non-scope ADS?
Let say you’re sniping on at least fairly nice distance and then all of a sudden face a bunch of enemies close to you, do you hip-fire and hope for the best rather than ADS?
