Warthunder generally runs over double the enlisted teamsize.
But still, without all the AI running about and the huge maps, it would be pretty localised fighting
Love that they brought back the D point

well i am still waiting for a game that can do good 100v100. almost every game that has tried more than 50v50 had problems with netcode/lags.
Enlisted is not gonna die cause then the major would lose his job. clearly an april fools nonsense.
Omega LUL, at least we know what DF was doing all this time /jk. Can we expect a naval warfare in Enlisted from WT devs too?
this also bothers me, maybe because of the help of the enlisted development team to the war thunder team, they didn’t have time to make a Soviet-Japanese event, or bring the latest update to mind, and who knows what the current one will be… not a single feature from the previous events was really implemented in enlisted yet, so now something rotten can come to life for us …
What did they test with ponies, huge snail and mechs?
Yeah, because WT definitely did not have mech April Fools event as well lmao.
These April Fools events are so annoying… Exactly for this very reason.
Some April Fools events are just for humour (shooting potatoes), some do actually test mechanics that have come into the game (naval) or which may do at some point (eg submarines), and sometimes it isn’t obvious which is which - eg was there something in the Mobile Infantry being tested?
Well done for stating the obvious that no-one asked about
I doubt it’s much to worry about. As suggested, it’s just an April Fool’s event.
Let’s not kick the gravestone of Enlisted before it happens, eh?
interesting though as they say play as WW 1 infantry. But the trailer is modern.
Got me interested.
Enlisted is in half-dead status for a long time.
Back in 2021-22 there were a lot of updates, sadly the campaign system was a dead end from the beginning.
Merge came too late and took too long, almost like team was reduced to a bare minimum at that time.
Very little was done since - took them a whole year to add high BR AT gun to Pacific and it’s a ‘lend-lease’ PAK40 for Japan.
Game is also once again at a dead end where current BR5 ‘1945/6’ gear rivals most possible additions up to 1980-90s, leaving little room for more content without nerfing what we have.
But official announcing of Enlisted end of service would hurt profits, so the silence continues, even if it seems that CMs are running out of excuses lately, as a list of ‘promised yet undelivered’ features and bugfixes grows ever larger, and as more cost-saving measures continue to hit what remains of the playerbase.
‘Massive Post-Steam marketing campaign’ also never came, instead we went straight to active Active Matter marketing.
This April Fool’s Day video seems to have more potential than the game Enlisted.
Although it is an April Fool’s event let’s not forget Gaijin did an MBT and Helicopter beta testing as an April Fool’s event which later result in the addition of Modern MBTs and many helicopters which are now part of the top tier section of the game, meaning there is a chance they could make the infantry permanent, I don’t think this will kill Enlisted outright but it could lead to a shift of priorities (there is already some focus being placed on the development of Active Matter so this could add more focus on other games that aren’t Enlisted which could result in less attention and work being done for this game)
And their wording back in 2017 was pretty similar as it is now with this new infantry event about being an expansion of War Thunder’s gameplay and offerings and this event was an April Fool’s event, we will have to wait and see what will happen after this but there is a chance the infantry may be added permanently in War Thunder.
Exactly
pretty much. I’ll be spending my time in that event…Get that question answered where the future/plan is, if not here
I like the idea of WW1 finally being mentioned at least somewhere.
As for Enlisted, it really has dug its own grave with Rocket Pershing vs Japanese Pak 40 kind of content.
It’s not “the ultimate WW2 game” anymore.
Shot itself in the foot.
Well…the event is now available on War Thunder and it’s about WW1 confirming that Infantry will be a closed beta later on outside of the April Fool’s event…safe to say in my opinion that the future of Enlisted is now uncertain
Sad. But you are correct.
