Since Alpha, Developers tried to hear user voices and reflect them in updates, contents etc.
I’m glad about this. Communicating with users and applying things are good.
but, It seems that they are pretty swayed by some “Minorities”, which most of the communities are against with.
for example, at past, we had Ranks and Division markings on each soldiers.
It was both good and historical, there was no reason to remove this.
but some minor dregs didn’t like it, and whined at forum, and those elements got deleted.
even despite most parts of forum was against them, who wanted those patches to remain.
and you know what? that @Kilroy_SS177 guy who wrote that article never came back.
he just tried the game a bit during the open beta, ruined it, and he just left the game.
There is no reason for Devs to only hear minor dregs whining, it just makes game worse!
same this time. Everyone was OK with that panther, except that guy. he whined at forum, and panther got removed while almost every part of forum was against him, want the panther to remain.
99% sacrificed for 1%
this is insane. just for a few minor whines, Devs are forcing the Major users to sacrifice.
it shouldn’t have happened, but it had. I just want Devs not to be swayed by a few minorities whining, but to listen to the Majority of users.
How to explain this … so russians on an institutional plan / company point of view can’t understand compared assumptions like how other regular people working in the same domains do. The only thing that resonates with them is the concept of an active threat and what that threat implies such as what the afromentioned “offensive” panther consisted of from their point of view, hence the already shown haste in it’s removal.
On a personal manner and with formalities aside, I advice you ( OP ) / anyone reading this to stop trying to justify or compare anything related to an issue with one or more institutional / buisness related russian individuals.
Ontop of that, some people have taken notice of this and demanded the removal of the NKVD squads based on the same principle and threat perception which, for lack of a better term, is “the real language” that they ( the developers in this case ) understand.
The problem is that majority of players don’t raise their voice. That’s why it’s hard to listen to community. Also such things like Ranks and Division markings on each soldiers can heavily decreace performance of game.
You got to remember that “Making Enlisted a Better Place #” series of updates only happened because of a certain individual who’s name starts with an E was fed up with the russian ways of doing things and at the cost of unmentioned events…well…guess what…it worked !
Anyway, the previously mentioned lack of democracy/ majority is concerning as it both slows down the fixing process of the game and at the same time making the devs unpopular within the (vast) majority of the players (and making their steps mire illogical than they already are).
At least some statements would be nice and not thise stupid ninja-adjustments.
Not really. People just gave up with the devs.
Look at the Jumbo. Everybody who is not insane, hate that thing since OBT release but nothing happaned except Keo stating that the Jumbo will stay (despite the pressure from the community).
The Panther implies that the devs have no logical PR policy and development strategy.
Yes, but I was looking in wider aspect. Most of players don’t attend any social media of the game. Most players are casual. Of course, many players gave up (I’m one of them) but we are “active” players, minority of whole game base. That’s how it is with all games.
Except for fox, other developers seldom build radio stations even in their live broadcast, let alone insist on using “the Corps configuration they think is perfect”. Even many events (including this qualifying) have led players to analyze that, except for foxes, other people in the development team are encouraging the use of snipers, not engineers (in qualifying, you only have engineers in the engineering corps in Stalingrad, and all camp lines force you to arrange snipers)
They may think that the game world they build is perfect and doesn’t need enough practice It is suspected that they will use the fox’s player suggestion reports play office pitches). Then when they drink vodka, they play roulette to decide on some updates.
As a result, there are many game contents, and the framework mechanism is great. However, in terms of details, they don’t care about the early warning of loyal players, and they don’t even review the production of outsourcing companies (repeatedly causing low-quality content, or even delays).、
