I’m mainly American/Soviet, but I don’t think the German army was given much preferential treatment. It’s just that the players’ choice of faction is biased. Players of this game tend to gather in faction with a large player base. And popular factions have trends and are fluid.
The current unbalanced matching is caused by players gathering together in one faction. This needs to be corrected, but if we nerf the factions themselves, the problem will not be solved as biased players will simply go to the Soviet Union or America, and players who remain in Germany will be unfairly nerfed, which is unfair.
The problem to be fixed is elsewhere, not the German nerf.

Quantity means nothing if it is all worse than the limited but good option.
If you remove all weapons from BR 2 and you only put a fedorov in their place. You would severly limit the amount of choices but this trade off wouldnt really be a trade off when that 1 thing is better than all the othere options.
Just saying germany wins because of research quantity comes from a very flawed POV.
Are this a joke? The russian SMGs are really strong, i would gladly trade German SMGs for russian SMGs

The PPSH41 is better than any Tier 3 SMGs, so what’s exactly the issue here? you want more guns thats better?
Do you know why Germany have so much gear? they combined all the campaigns, with most of the campaigns it were Germany vs others, and they had different weapons.
Now look at the amount of reseach new German players have to put into the game to reach the BR5 stuff compared to other countries. - its a very long grind to reach the end, because of all that gear.
Germany have to reseach 18 items in the SMG line to reach the “best gun”
russia only have to reseach 10 items in the SMG line to reach the “best gun”
And you think its unfair for russia??

Dude Panzer literally means “Tank” and infact even the late war German heavy Tanks are called Panzer and the names like Tiger or Panther are only " nicknames"
