Ver-Sur also sucks, but not as bad.
Beach is less ahistorical, but the spawns are still terrible. But the game has a actual interesting combat development as it does not just have beach, but also the village, forrest and the mansion, which makes the map more interesting and engaging and also allows defenders to breathe for a bit and fall back better.
The only major issue with Ver Sur is that is sometimes includes Bomb or Assault.

I only use MGs on the first spawn and second too, tanks don’t do anything.
Historical battle events would be awesome, dedicated modes to a battle and the like.
I’ve been away for 10 months or so and just come back looking for a match on the D-Day map. i’ve done 56 battles so far without a single D-Day map once. I fully agree. it sucks when u have to spend hours on end just to play the map you’re looking forward to playing.
