I’m on console and agree that most console players at 1-3 BR tend to not play the objective, I believe it’s mostly because they are learning the game. I also see this with PC players too but less frequent.
I just feel that there’s a separation when it comes to skill levels of PC players and console players. PC players tend to be in the top leaderboards almost 8/10 times I play; not complaining, I’ll play with whoever regardless on your platform, but at least place a rally point and play the objective.

i’ve seen a match were console player got as many kills as someone on our team got vehicle kills

In matches with many console players, more players do not understand the rules of the game.
They do not come out of the building when their CP is about to be occupied in front of them, or they do not move from the initial spawn point when their friends are attacking the enemy CP in the distance.
They are in the game without knowing how to play the game, their presence is very annoying.
In many cases a bot is more helpful than a console player.
Cross-play is a nice feature, but I think it should not be possible to connect to public matches until you learn how to play the game to some extent.
I would like beginners to learn basic fighting skills against bots first.
I want them to be able to play only PVE until they have enough equipment for BR2.

It makes more sense to ask for a player ranking. I play on PS4 and in 90% of games, with any faction and BR I’m always in the top 3. When I deactivate crossplay in some games (since merging it rarely happens) I get triple the kills of my teammates and opponents. With your proposal for me it would be like going back to playing with bots like a few months ago…

What for do you want to get rid off console players ?
Sometimes they make game easier and sometimes harder - depending which side they join.
If this game would do skill-based matching, I wouldn’t think they would want to exclude console users.
I know that in-game rank is not a true measure of a player’s skill, but it is at least a measure of how many matches they have played that season.
But even the ability to match players by reference to their rank is not something the game’s silly matchmakers have.

I believe a lot of new console players have no idea about the crossplay feature, or what will happen if they join a lobby full of PC-players.
It’s not fun for anyone. Not for PC players, and not for the console players themselves (which definitely may lead them to desert the game and never come back).
Please make cross-play disabled by default and let the players keep their sanity.
This is such a norm that you and I determine in the pre-game which team will win via who has more console players than the other

Even though I support the PC master race and I am very aware of how awful controllers are for shooter games, I still dare to say that a good console player will still be better than 90% of the total playerbase.

The queue times are like 5s now, and nowhere did i write to turn crossplay off completly.
My issue is that it’s ON by deault, and 8yo kids that don’t even know how to get into game options are thrown into many games and ruin them by doing nothing.
People who like challange will turn it on if they even know about it.
It is ON by default just because with 6 camapaigns there were not enaugh players.
We are post merge, we don’t need them anymore
Funny but true, instead of looking for marshals in team, just look who has more console players.
