Do the Non english speaking nations have cringy voicelines like “I am alpha and Omega”
well, most of them are cringy.
just in a different language.
i believe the italian equivalent ( which takes it’s place ) it’s: " per te cala il sipario "
and means " the curtain falls for you ". yeah… it’s that bad.
germans sounds like toddlers, and british minions are even worse.
voice lines in this game need a fat 180.
the only ones that are acceptable, are italian minions because they are somewhat funny and acceptable ( outside playable character. that is simply annoying and abnoscious )
german casting is nailed ( both minions and main ). but their voices impressions are too cheesy and their lines needs a bit of work.
us needs a rework because main sounds like a gremlin, and the side characters outside the 3rd and 4th in command, the others needs to be reworked.
uk minions needs a recast too. while the chad main is excellent.
about the soviets, dunno.
i think they are okey.

Italian lines are OK. Some of it is witty and the rest is fun for me at least. (sorry amici but since super mario its a meme language among many gamers).

you can recognize something is wrong even if you can’t understand it.
like the soviet are mostly fine even if we don’t know what’s being said.
( outside the female soviet voice lines. sounds like you averange cheesy millennial who thinks she’s better )

USA main: sounds like a 16 year old with anger issues who lied about his age to enlist
GER main: sounds like a serial killer
ITA main: sounds like a bad Mario impression
UK main: sounds like a 40K Ork whose middle name is Testosterone
USSR & JPN main: the only kinda normal ones

There is one german voice line that is completely wrong and sounds 100% like some one tried to google translate specifically from Russian into German.
Had something to do with reloading, he says something like “bei mir ist Hilfe”. He basically says “at me is help” instead of “I need help”
Other than that I actually really like the crazy Germans being super happy like they are constantly on Panzerschokolade.

Wrong, it says “Bei mir ist Ebbe”, which means “I’m broke” which translates in this context to “I’m low on ammo”.

Well, it seems to me that the main part of the developers are Russians, so they don’t really understand Japanese.(But in Russia a lot of people who learn japanese, cuz anime and other bs, so idk how they can have problem with that)
The Soviet ones … yes, there seem to be no problems compared to others, even a few voices. But still sometimes “cringe”.
In any case, at least they are funny and just present in the game, this is already good.
