I do not understand the point of your question. We are having a conversation about something that no longer has anything to do with the topic.
Personally I’d like it along those lines.
You could spam lightly equipped squads (1MG, 1SMG, 7 BA) or spawn a terminator squad (9 man SMG). Basically quality vs quantity.
Sadly it’s not achievable in the current state of the game.
So we are about to see 6 man SMG squads spam as those are among the most effective.
I love variety (but only if it’s an SMG). /s

To get my immersion fix i play call to arms, gates of hell.
Lots of mixed squads and although you can get heavily equipped squads they are really expensive…and it hurts when an arty round kills them all lol

I was also thinking about it but it’s still an RTS with build in FPS mode. And as such it’s a bit clunky.

yes a little bit. But with a few Choice Mods it really fun.
Just imagine its enlisted, but you can tell the rest your team mates what to do and they have to do it
