I keep seeing players that have “NKVD” in their nicknames. The rules clearly say, that no extremist/terrorist nicknames are allowed. Specific examples of SS, SA, SD are being used there. How is NKVD any different from that? NKVD probably have killed more people including their own than the SS. These aren’t empty words that I’m saying. Half of my relatives have been sent to Siberia back in the day, they’ve suffered enough from them. If the fascist names aren’t allowed, but NKVD is, how is this fair? What if someone would name themselves SS Totenkopf as a protest? Oh right, that’s obviously not allowed. I’ve reported these type of players many times through the in-game report system, but nothing has been done. I assume the report system is completely broken and is useless. I’m sure that I’m not the only one who thinks that way. Name yourselves however you want, I literally don’t care, but naming yourselves with a basically terrorist organisation is uncool and uncalled for.

noone cares, noone is complaining about swastikas and portrayal of war crimes comitted by all 3 sides in old games such as cod WAW, and noone but you complains about this.
either enjoy the game or quit it, there’s bigger issues than some random individual’s preference in his name. the SS panther was already killed off easily by someone just like you. and noone certainly doesnt want this game to turn into battlefield V. or COD vanguard.

sickle and hammer wich is illegal in lithuania as you can see it is still in game so they have law in ass. They delete panther cuz russian cry and who’s more crying. The enlisted battue about russia is due to the removal of Panther camouflage
I have nothing against the hammer and sickle myself, but it’s just not fair how they try to censor things that don’t need to be censored because some Russian cried bitterly
To be partly fair.
They would have censored the Panther from the beginning IF they were aware of the history of it, but their research was lazy and bad. But then, without the Skreever-dude or however his name was, they wouldn’t have find that out until now.
Its 50% legal and 50% pc (albeit I thought it was the later one when this madness started).
they would need to censor a lot more of this game if they were so concerned about legality. but laws of some countries are more equal then others…

I don’t think you can blame the devs for letting people decide how they name themselves and talking about the commie stuff. Iirc commie symbols etc. are only outlawed in Poland, Baltics and Indonesia. Rest don’t care or are specific or allow it for art purpose.

well if it was me i would say f everything and made historically accurate game and would not care about few countries that have laws against such symbols. if anything bans in few small countries could be excellent marketing strategy.

By that logic, it would be fine showing nazis in the Moscow campaign at the very least
