Most leave because of the lagging.

What they need is

  1. Make the game rewarding and enjoyable to play.
-Not just firefights, but positioning and progression too. The former doesn’t exist in Enlisted and the latter causes pain when you interact with it. It would take too long to explain in detail and ultimately won’t be worth my time and effort.
-Get players off the hellish treadmill of timed activities and limited rewards. FOMO gets short-term profit, but leaves players burned out. It’s a death sentence to a free game, which can only be truly successful in long term.
-Stop forcing players into highly specific playstyles. That can work as a side activity in an already successful, content-saturated game with established long-term goals for players. It can never be the foundation of what the game is. You won’t force players to do what they don’t want to do, not without making them hate you and the game.
-Stop replacing players with bots, stop trying to hide bots. The two are not mutually replaceable. Re-evaluate your approach to squads.
  2. Punish those who leave matches. Make them respect each others’ time. Not by taking away progression rewards which mean nothing if the rewards would be nonexistent anyway and you’d hate every second of it, but by taking away the ability to play for a while.
  3. If they can’t implement all of the above or can’t make it profitable, it’s already over.

In other words, it’s most likely already over. Whoever finds some enjoyment in this game - get your fill while it’s still there and you still have at least some other players among bots.

I have seen some players spamming MGs in Moscow even worse with the premium MG squads added to the mix where they basically spam MGs the whole game and I get some crazy runs when that happens with my 3 PPSh squads especially when my teammates are mostly armed with low level weapons and struggle against 1 or 2 guys with MGs(I rarely get to use all 3 depending on the situation where at times I use an MG or other squads instead). I really have to carry my team with my best soldiers when this happens.

Another thing that annoys me in Moscow is my team using mostly T-60s fighting against Panzer IVs even more with when the German player has both the regular Panzer IV and the premium squad on his arsenal considering Soviets have yet to get a single T-34 even if a T-34 gets added, only the most dedicated high level Soviet players can bring the tank.

Atleast in Berlin, its not as bad as in Moscow for Soviets because they can get SVTs and DPs early as those are high level guns in Moscow while DP is the only good choice of all the Soviet MGs there that’s not some WWI era MG like Madsen and Chauchat. The early SMGs are capable too than box mag PPD-34. Even the starter tank for USSR in Berlin is a ton better than the starter in Moscow supported by infantrymen with Panzerfausts instead of AT rifles.

Tunisia is the worst offender for new players considering engineer unlocks at level 9 there which is stupid as even a new player can do something useful with an engineer like a rally point or ammo box but the campaign demanding a level 9 cripples their potential to help the team and be useful instead of just cannon fodder. Normandy on my experience, the problem besides more bad teams as Axis is the spamming of jumbos even worse when they hide in gray zones where you cannot even throw explosive packs on it.
