This game mode is horrible. You can literally push the enemy back to their last point and lose. It should NOT be scored this way. At the very least when a team conquers back their OWN territory it should not give them tickets and take away tickets from the enemy team.
Should’ve been the ones on objective when the timer ran out
I see your point. I admit It does give result to some very absurd situations in which both teams run out of points and the clock starts ticking. But what I like the most about this game mode is that both teams have the chance of turning the match into their favor, even when they’re losing, as long as they know what they’re doing.
For example, many times I’ve been on the losing end during the first half and end up winning in the end, after fighting hard and outsmarting the enemy. I’ve done this many times, even when my team is outnumbered. And there’s no greater satisfaction than that. Confrontation could be improved, certainly, but I wouldn’t call it ‘horrible’. In fact, it’s one of the only game modes we have in which there’s the chance of doing counterattacks, and the battlefield it’s always on the move. I love that. It’s the closest thing we have to an actual battle.
I definitely agree with this, the mode is just…not fun, for me it usually turns into 40 mins slog of either team taking mid and then either team taking their back point, which usually ends in the victory of the team that first capped the mid point.
In a sense you can kinda farm a lot of score due to sheer length of these matches, but its just soooo boring, and hell, you can loose even if you took mid first, it’s just such a weird mode
just cause it was recent topic
Booo, it’s the best mode out there
It has the most playstyles and ways to win out of any mode in the game
And your tickets are a resource. So is your territory. You have to manage both.
First team to capture “all” or eliminate “all”
Thats the win condition. Simple
Simple, but dumb and not fun.
I don’t mind confrontation, however what I do dislike is that too many people don’t play to capture cap points, they are just content with fighting between one or two cap points. I have lost countless games because I actually try and capture all cap points, but when your trying to capture them ALONE, what is the point when your continuously charging cap points by yourself having to engage multiple squads that are defending. So, it might as well just be a death match since that is how most of them end up.
I agree with this.
One option is to win by capping all the points, going all-in regardless of casualties and hope you don’t run out.
An alternative is to try and sucker the enemy into using up all their men first.
I’ve had many really good games that ebbed and flowed right until the last moment.
