Collaborationist Chinese Army (more equipment for Japan)

It’s clear that Japan has the least interesting tech tree in terms of quantity and probably quality. The developers of Enlisted have resorted to prototype weapons, which isn’t bad, but alarming considering the fact that half of Japan’s tech tree are prototype weapons (or weapons that are hardly used).

But there is a way to make it so Japan’s tech tree isn’t all fake weapons.

We could add the Collaborationist Chinese Army, who were Chinese volunteers that worked with Japan during World War 2. In addition, boost the number of weapons in the tech tree. We could add weapons like the ZH-29 or the Hanyang 88. We already have a few weapons that China used like the KE7.

We also already have the Chinese voice lines, so this shouldn’t be too hard to implement. It is also not too far from what we have for the French, British, or Italian voice lines.

The Collaborationist Chinese Army weren’t the only foreign factions helping the Japanese. There were also Polynesians that could be added, or Mongolians and et cetera. These could also be other squads that could be implemented in the tech tree.

There are many other things that adding the Collaborationist Chinese Army would open up.

  • We could also have more gold order soldiers like this one:
    Shi Yousan - Wikipedia

  • We could also have more customization and faces (which is something Japan is also obviously lacking)

  • Low BR tanks

There is probably plenty more that I am missing, but I won’t keep going on.

Shi Yousan innate perk: friendly fire ON

Perhaps consider the troops from Taiwan, which extensively assisted the IJA in fighting in Southeast Asia and the Philippines during World War II

Actually this is very interesting. I also hope that the American army will also join the 422nd Infantry Regiment. That army composed of Japanese fought for the United States in World War II.

Or they could add the Indian National Army. Indian traitors/freedom fighters who fought against their own countrymen for the IJA, mostly using Japanese Arisaka rifles and captured British weapons and equipment like Lee-Enfield rifles, Brenn and Vicker guns. Thompson machine guns and hand grenades (both British and Japanese). They also used captured Dutch Lewis machine guns.
They had some female troops using Ross rifles and captured Dutch rifles (both lighter and shorter than the Lee-Enfields).
Also British Universial Carriers and other vehicles including tanks (British/Dutch) that were captured by Japan and given to and used by the Indian National Army.

Most of these weapons and vehicles already exists in the game.
