Change premium squads

This is one of my most important forum threads of all time, so try to read it all.
Enlisted is a free-to-play game and the pay/don’t pay balance will always be a cornerstone. There will always be a “donation dump”, there will always be whales. However, I’m not expressing the opinion of a whale, but I’m not a stingy person either (I ended up playing 6+ years of PoE, have 4-5 support packs, although the “necessary” donation ended up being 1-2).
The current monetization is bullshit, especially with premium squads. I’m not a manager, I can’t cite charts, but I’ll explain otherwise. It will be about premium squads.
And so the essence of the problem: the current premium squads suit no one:
Real players in our game call 90% of donated squads - trash, and it’s true.

  1. Bad weapons: ERMA EMP for example for 4800 gold (!) is equal to the Wall. Seriously? Why buy this?
  2. Small squad size: 4 guys vs. 7.
  3. Lousy stats: +50 to “legs” -5 to “hearts” (exaggerating, but I saw units that have “fists” of 30 + Why?)
  4. Lack of additional specialists: only in the new squads and then the nonsense, but about this later.
  5. Huge price: $60 per squad for one side in one of the 5 campaigns is a lot, considering the minuses above.

The second half - those who have played a little or did not play, they say that the game donate cesspool:

  1. Donation is obtrusive.
  2. There is a lot of it, you can buy almost everything.
  3. Some things seem OP.

Squads used to be 4 specialist regardless of class, except for fighters, now they are doing 5, adding an engineer with the same stats and weapons as the main fighters. This is fundamentally wrong!
It breaks the rules of the game. We do not have 4 machine guns in the normal squad, why in the premium unit to shove 4 or even more 5.
This breaks the rules of the classes. An engineer outside of the core squad builds an anti-aircraft gun, what the hell?
It’s not always strong anyway. Still 5 people instead of 7, the same premium squad with Kiraly is hardly better than a good standard assault squad.
Squads like that give you a reason to call the game a paid cesspool. That’s not fair.
How it should be done:

A premium squad is equal in number of fighters to a regular squad. If Stormtroopers, then 4 Stormtroopers and 3 other classes. If Machine Gunners, then 3 Machine Gunners and 4 other classes. If Engineers, up to 6 engineers.

  1. Only the main squad specialists have special weapons, the additional ones are supplied with the most improved standard rifles of the particular campaign (Mosin, kar, etc.).
  2. The squad has a branch of pumping, just like a normal squad. It is pumped only selection of additional specialists, it is the same as in the standard squad. Redistribution of the pumping can always be done for free.
  3. Depending on the pumping additional squad fighters (not the main class) will automatically change their class. Say if I had a squad of Stormtroopers 4 stormtroopers + 2 engineers and snipers. I change the pumping sniper to a gunner, my fighter-sniper removes all the equipment and change the class, along with the characteristics (perks that he can save saves, otherwise reset).
  4. Additional classes of soldiers I can give any weapon available to them from the campaign. Grenade launcher to the grenade launcher, rifle to the engineer, machine gun to the machine gunner.
  5. Characteristics of premium units are chosen carefully, giving preference to at least 16 in each stat for expensive units so that the player can pump what he wants.
  6. Radio operator and Engineers do not have the same functions as their main squad if they are not in the main squad (e.g. machine-gunner squad)

What’s the bottom line?

  • P2W is no longer called, the exact same squad (except weapons) you can assemble yourself. The number of soldiers of each class is equal to the same in a normal squad (no more 5-gunners). No funky engineer profile builds in a non-core squad.

  • No garbage either - some of the fighters you equip with weapons from the campaign, their number is equal to the same in the regular squad, additional classes available. The squad has good stats to take perks.

Premium squads must be the same as the normal squad! The main class has special weapons, the rest - the standard. Such squads will make sense not to throw away after grind. They will be bought.
I personally did not buy machine gunners Normandy because of squad size and stats not suitable for me. I won’t buy squads of 5 with a cheater engineer because it’s not fair.
Bring all current squads to this level. People will start buying them, and regular players, not just whales. And the whales will be only happy, the squads will make sense and for the game, not just for the collection.

I fully agree, and one more thing to that, get rid of those stupid bundle things. Why can’t I buy just that one squad I want to play? For example there are 2 tank suads in a bundle, but I only want the soviet one. But I have to buy the german one too, for twice as much gold, only to use the soviet tank. If there is a 50% discount on a bundle, then we can buy that one soviet tank for a full one-squad price. It’s nonsense, why can’t we just buy the squads separately?
And why are guns in Stalingrad behind a paywall, which you can use in any campaign for free? For example shotguns, PZ III, ZH29, MG42, SVT, Thompson, you can use all them for free in other campaigns. The stalingrad does not give you any new weapons or squads, then why we have to buy it? The only new thing is the flamethrower tanks, for 30 euros? And there are also additional premium squads, because why not… But that’s another topic.

I would be happy when i could take them all into Battle. Squad Slots are the first Problem.
If i would have Space, i would always play bad Premium Squads.

What prices do you think would be suitable for these new squads ?
