Can you give the U.S. Army a M3A1 half-track?

Wow, you can speak five languages! That’s amazing sir!
Your skull seems to be filled with five times more brains than mine sir!

It is less amazing as it may sound.
Here in Holland, W-Europe, kids learn foreign languages at school mandatory.
Beginning with English at a very young age, later adding mandatory French and German for two years.
After those two mandatory years you can choose to continue studying them or choose something else.
So basically almost everybody here in my country who went to school studied at least 2 years of French and German and even more English.
Very useful, after all they are our neighbours.

( I learned Spanish as 5th language mostly from holidays in Spain and dating Spanish girls )

I too had English as a required subject in school, but I still can’t speak it well. There is a U.S. Navy base in my city, so I have many American friends with whom I interact, but I still can’t speak English well at all.
You seem to have had a very good school years sir.

By the way, do you live in the Netherlands? I live in Nagasaki city, which has a very close connection with the Netherlands. Japan was closed off to the outside world during the Middle Ages, but we had contact only with the Dutch, and we learned a lot from them, including medical technology.
So, there are towns and cities that imitate the Dutch landscape. lmao

You seem to be quite the playboy, sir!

Your English on the forum is as good as anybody else’s!

I spend most of my schooltime being stupid, playing videogames, not doing my best at school, drinking alcohol and smoking weed.
Not much has changed since then

Yes I live in the Netherlands.
Such a weird country.
It’s called The Netherlands but also Holland.
And if you live there, you are Dutch. :unamused:
In our national anthem, we sing that we have German blood and are loyal to the King of Spain.
I am not joking! (it’s all about history)

I remember from history lessons about the Dutch being the only people allowed into Japan in the middle ages, for trading.
It always makes me feel special because the Japanese are honorable and respectable people and you allowed nobody else in!

I will google for pictures to get an impression.
Great pic of Dutch architecture style in Japan!

Not really, all my relationships have failed so far
I also had an Indonesian woman, tried to learn her language too.
So I will just continue and try women from all over the world, perhaps someday I will speak all languages.

For the Japanese, Holland is one of their special friend nations. Many Japanese respect Holland.
(So, I wrote “Netherlands”, but many Japanese call it “Holland”. It is strange that many Japanese call it “Holland”, while I write “Netherlands”.)
Many Holland words remain in the Japanese language. For example, Japanese doctors traditionally use Holland and German words.
Since World War II, we have learned many advanced technologies and medical techniques from the U.S., but the memory of interacting with Europe has already become a tradition for us, and it is hard to be “Americanized”.

It seems that you will be spreading your genes to the world even more than Genghis Khan, sir!

It’s Halftrack, one word. The “track” part is the rear end because “tracks” is more or less synonymous with “treads.” So Halftrack, or “half tread.” Just simply describing it isn’t a fully tracked vehicle, but rather half regular vehicle (wheels) and half tracked vehicle.

The cat’s brain did not have the power to understand your explanation.

Tanks are “fully tracked” vehicles. Halftracks are only partially tracked. Tracks, treads, same thing

“Tank treads”
So the Halftrack is a 4x4 truck that we replaced the rear tires with little tank treads
