I know for a fact that 1st inf division was fully equipped with stg’s.
But im fairly sure there was other divisions in wehrmacht by that time.
But idk and cant really care less to study where else they sent them.
Like said, I know the 1st inf definitely was fully equipped with stg’s.

compared to weapon in the millions and hundreds of thousands that served in ww2 while not rare it would have been far less common then the German pistols taken as trophies

Stg was in service 1943-1945 could say 44-45 due to that being the timeline when it was more commonly issued.

So comparing weapons such as K98 numbers thru entire war to weapon that was made ~2 years is like saying USSR shouldnt have smg’s at all since the numbers produced ~6million ?
Is nothing compared to moist nugget that was made over 40million.

Approximately 18 million soldiers served in the Wehrmacht.

By the end of war the war less than 5 million of german soldiers was active on both frontline, the stg was produced en masse during thatch period, this mean counting just frontline troops (infantry) 1/3 of frontline troops was equipped with it

However the Halloween Japanese works because there is a photo of some officer wearing that exact outfit. But that should not be a standard cosmetic whatsoever.
