Wich server do you play on because playing japs I almost always get the BAR/WP spammer type in my matches lmao
I run 2 BAR squads and two M2 flame squads and it’s still not enough.

I like the idea of the pacific. but after I got the owen gun, there wasn’t anything else I was interested in. Turns out I don’t like the Owen gun 8(
well there is a alternative, there could be a possibility of one of the soldiers in every squad being able to deploy the rally point like the HMG, maybe even bots could be ordered to set that up so while they set it up, you can keep advancing forwards, and you don’t have to wait.
another idea is to allow soldiers to build a garrison point, it would basically be a table with alot of military stuff on it, like in HLL, it wouldnt be buildable by engineers but rather it would be set up by 1 soldier in the entire squad. this garrison point would be bulky and would require people to find a secluded spot to hide the garrison point as opposed to just plopping down a rally and covering it with 2 sandbags, also it cannot be destroyed by just shooting at it, it requires you to go right up to it, and hold J until its destroyed
well, the alternative to sitting like a duck and building a rally point would definetly be a mobile respawn, something like in form of a truck, or a half-track vehicle.
to be fair, sometimes i tend to spawn in as engi squad and when im about to build a rally point i figure that the enemy team is pushing in and cant hold, so im forced to just leave rally point building and help out

well they are probably encountering the following issues:
-they dont have a engi squad
-friendly team is getting mowed down too hard to take any time to build a rally point
plus im pretty sure that such repetitivity of placing down rally points constantly in vain will get to them, to the point where they just refuse to build a rally point
i wish, that’s what we have bots for, looking forward to this feature, definitely would help the lack of rallies being set up.

You can already do this, in your engineer squad. Place the location, press X (or whatever default is) and the engineer bot will build it.
Get the right perks and it takes 6 seconds to put down a rally. You wont achieve anything better with that 6 seconds. Nor will it stop you from being combat effective…if anything It will make you alot more combat effective as you will spend more time fighting than running back.
well, its because HLL has more functions unlike enlisted, the garrison point could instead be called as command post, or rather field command post

on top of that imagine some tactical mechanics regarding spoken command post, being able to execute certain actions by all AI squads or something wow
people keep saying that, of course you can do this but this is clunky as hell.
1 you need two engi for this to work
2 the proces can be interrupted if you switch to any other soldier class
3 it is inconvenient as hell i wish it’d work just like RO abilities, to be able ordering this from any other soldier class pov, that would make the process so much faster and easier
Granted I haven’t played HLL or post scriptum for a long time. But I see little difference in the way logistics, rallies and garrisons were set up in those games (in principle). except you relied on other players to build stuff faster (can you imagine having to rely on people in enlisted to get your gear built :S). At least you dont have to bring a truck with supplies, or wait for a supply drop. And with the right perks 6 seconds for a rally is nothing.

Yes the swapping soldier or being killed canceling the bots build order should be fixed.
covering a RP with sandbags is the dumbest thing someone could do.
Just makes a bigger target for anyone looking for it
If I see 2 random sandbags behind the objective, I’m gonna be suspicious
yeah but those sandbags offer better protection as opposed to just plopping down a rally point, with this, the rally point isnt at risk of being sniped
Or you could just put it somewhere where it can’t be sniped.
