which made me surprised to see this high of a dispersion

anyways, I thought the MKb42 had 0.12 dispersion and the MP 43/1 had like 0.6?

Semi Auto Mkb? Also tried this and its quite powerful, yet since it starts being on full auto, its kinda annoying using that weapon that way, just like the FG42 which doesnt start at full auto.

Still, I would argue that there is something about 500 rpm which makes guns very unreliable in general… you just dont seem to hit fast moving targets in close quarters.

What they should really do is:

  • Bring the sniper MKb 42(H) to the correct rate of 500 rpm.
  • Remove the hidden recoil multipliers. That would reverse the recoil of:
    • MKb 42(H) - from 11.4 and 3 back to 38 and 10
    • Sniper MKb 42(H) - from 11.4 and 3 back to 38 and 10
    • AVT-40 - from 21.75 and 8 back to 87 and 32
    • Sniper AVS-36 - from 69.3 and 23.1 back to 99 and 33.

And yes, this would be an MKb 42(H) buff, not a nerf as it would make the AVS-36 and AVT-40 what they essentially were - semi auto rifles with a spray-and-prey option for CQC.

With the recoil of 87; 32 and 99; 33 they wouldn’t be effective in full auto at range at all.

Use semi. The Sniper AVS is better in semi anyway

I know, that’s what I meant.

If you meant in semi auto, then obviously a rifle cartridge will perform better at range than an intermediate round. Dispersion should be divided by like 10 for all weapons anyway, but still 7.62×54mmR would perform better at range than the 7.92×33mm.

AVS and AVT were horrible rifles. Muzzle breaker of AVS didn’t work which made the gun terrible inaccurate and AVT was reported to be less accurate than the PPSh, let alone the SVT.
It has nothing to do with bullets… at least not only.
So far I never heard that the Mkb was reported to be inaccurate. Most complaints were about mechanical reliability.

lol lmao even. As an axis main, I can truthfully say that the inclusion of the MKB42 in Stalingrad single-handedly tipped the Stalingrad campaign in the Axis favor. I can have multiple assault squads and engineer squads all equipped with this gun? Awesome and insane. No, it does not need to be buffed.

You’re not a real axis main chad in Stalingrad if you don’t use Mannlicher extensively.

AVT is a much better gun compaired to MBK. it only require 2 shots to kill a ger even at a long distance and short burst of 2 shots is very confortable
