and if ammo boxes dispensed grenades you would have a point. if apc’s could not be built so close to an objective you would have a point. if you could destroy an apc with something short of what it take to destroy a tank you would have a point.
Rifle AT grenade two-shots apc’s from the sides. One explosive pack is garunteed to destroy them. A molotov to the front destroys them slowly and makes them unusable in the process.
Again all things that can destroy a tank. My point is not that they are stronger then a tank it’s that they are as durable as a tank. You forgot at grenade launcher and at rockets that’s not the point. You need either an at soldier or to be in grenade throwing range. Is a hoped up truck you want to fill with glass bottles full of gasoline dynamite and TNT. Ammo boxes and rally points can be destroyed with any weapon including a knife or pistol. You want to combine ammo box and rally but with grenades so giving it tank armor is too much.
After BRIII, the rifle AT grenade stops being useful against tanks. Molotovs are very hard to land consistently on the engine of a tank. APCs are nowhere near as durable as a tank. But yes, I did forget AAA, as that can easily mow down APCs in its sightlines.
Knives and pistols are completely ineffective against ammo boxes, and you typically fire a rifle grenade at them or ignore them unless you have an engi in your squad to deconstruct it.
With a rifle grenade, it’s easy to hit the weak points of an APC at 100m with just a bit of practice.
If your squad struggles to blow up an APC, then you didn’t build your squad properly.
Yes I forgot APCS are br3 and not BR2 able to fight every br if you so choose. Rifle grenades one. One weapon a common soldier class can use at range. Sorry mixed up health and ammo boxes. What ammo boxes can’t move have to be constructed and don’t have grenades. What APCS are already at least as good as rallies. While easy to see don’t beep giving away there location. You want to add a three grenade recharge you have to give up something. Move it to br3 you seem too think that’s relevant. Or push back there spawn distance, or make the as soft or nearly as so as a rally point. N that is destructable le by rifles and machine guns.
Already good players will destroy APCs easier than rallies due to seeing them from a far distance or a teammate marking them. They also have a much longer delay between spawning than rallies and require time and a lot of risk to drive to the frontline.
At BR II, shoot it with an AT rifle (you should have at least 1 AT soldier per squad), a rocket launcher, or use any anti-tank throwable against it. An APC over 100m from the objective isn’t even worth targeting most of the time, it’s the ones close by (and in a very easy to grenade range) that impact the game.
