Just as the title says.
That’s why I’m typing this post on my smartphone.
I bought it last winter for about 150,000 yen, which is about 1,035 dollars in U.S. dollars.
The broken gaming PC was made by Galleria. It was an amazing machine that could achieve 120 FPS.
It seems the cooling system has failed.
But maybe the motherboard is broken. I’ll do a detailed test first and wait for the results.
The repair costs were quite expensive for someone like me who is short on cash.
I was in tears.
I won’t be able to play Enlisted for a while…
rip
Still alive…
the pc?
My PC is about to die, but we’ll inspect it closely and maybe we can fix it if the problem is minor.
You should be able to narrow down the cause and repair it.
hardware diagnosing can be hard if you dont have extra parts and you cant boot to desktop. if you can boot to desktop, then you have options.
I hope so…
I was able to open the desktop. I’ll leave the rest to the professionals.
if you want free diagnose and cheaper repair, then it is better to do it yourself. there are loads of diagnosing tools and some motherboards come with a way to notify you of where error comes from(e.g. error code, light or beeping noise).
Even if I were to repair it myself, I’m still an amateur.
computer repairs are extremely easy cause they usually just require swapping parts. sometimes you can even repair computer without swapping parts.
everyone is amateur at one point. lots of my knowledge about PC-s comes from fixing my computers when they broke.
Depending on the results of a detailed computer inspection, I will try to repair it myself if I think I can. Thank you for your opinion.
You can use GeForce NOW free subscripton (free 30 minutes after a queue) via almost any laptop
it is 1 hour per session with unlimited sessions per day. you just need to wait in queue every time.
although i wouldnt recommend playing any fps via streaming cause of latency.
I did that for a year as I needed time and cash to build a new rig, it was playable.
However, playing on your own PC is much more comfortable.
Yeah, same thing.
This will work if you have no money, but still want to receive all events stuff.
Also I would recommend to play as tank/engineers, since they are not depends on a good latency.
well i never used it, so i dont have any experience with it. how are the queues?
I had a paid membership, about 10 bucks/month
That wasnt too bad. Some days certain servers were overloaded, but most of the time it was pretty chill and I got into the game instantly.
It was much more annoying when the connection between the server wasnt flawless, which could result in either a short freeze or the game stopping which also could end in two ways: you get back in time to the match or you get back too late and get kicked to lobby.
