The classic, iconic Mosin rifle, is classed as BR2…

I believe it is unjust. Or at the very least, makes no sense, because similar Dragoon Mosin is BR1, and axis counterparts got the comparable equally powerful VZ24, at br1.

I believe the only reason the Mosin is br2, is because it branches out to the grenade launcher version.

  • Suggestion: make Iconic Mosin 91/30, br1 where it should be. just make the branch leading to grenade (crutch) launcher variant, start from br2 Winchester, or m44 carbine.

The Mosin rifle (imo) is pretty abysmal. I played with it the other day and it was NOT fun. lol. I picked up any K98 or G33 I could find. :sweat_smile:

Not entirely sure “any 5 round bolt action” needs to be above BR 1 (short of having a grenade launcher) :thinking:

and yeah…cant say I like the mosins. Only 2 of the faster carbines fit my rhythm.

Why? It always seemed decent to me. It has far better sigths than the Winchester.

Also in the original Moscow the dragoon and the m1938 was higher in the grind than the 91/30

The 91/30 and all models after that (historically speaking) are okay, but I feel as if the cycle of the bolt is too slow and I can feel the gritty steel of the bold rub on the receiver through the TV :sweat_smile:

Yeah, it’s not the fastest. But I definitely wouldn’t say it’s abysmal.

But I am too lazy to check stats atm. So maybe I am just delusional again.

I would say its abysmal. “relatively” speaking. But thats only because I have a rhythm with faster firing bolts.

as soon as you pickup these slow ones, they truly do feel abysmal because its not in sync with you (or rather you arent in sync with it).

Sure they still do the job

Imagine, bolt action rifles in general would cycle faster while adding the ability to keep your sights up during a reload

That could turn many boltactions into BR3 worthy guns.

Honestly, maybe the faster bolt action cycle perk could deserve a big buff.

Boltie fire rate perk is still broken, and currently doesn’t work, otherwise BA would be still good for BR3 and 4

It should once you take all the level of the perk, all perk have different level you can purchase, just the first level isn’t game change as you said

All bolties with 5-6 rounds should be br 1. The larger mag ones would be br 2

Maybe you can try M1938, same sight, higher RPM, most importantly it is BR1.

Well, I have only tried it because I wanted to play something other than Winchester in my BR2 line up. And this was first BR2 rifle I came across.
Tbh, I haven’t really studied stats of those BA rifles. :joy:

I just remember feeling pretty good about the gun, that’s all. So I was pretty surprised that someone called it “abysmal”.
