Its because of Japan. If you bring BR 3 gear you will get thrown against BR 5 Japan.

Thats fine, I’m just more concerned for when im put against Germany.
I’m honestly not sure if it also throws you against BR 5 Germany or not.

it will because german get br 4-5 so you get way harder german enemy
or 3-4 if lucky

Not a bug, BR III mm is BR II - III or BR III - V , with a BR III - IV softrule if there’s enough players in queue

It’s fine. Just means every couple of matches I get to randomly fight uber sweat lords and show em what’s good with the BAR, III Thompson’s, and the M1 Garand right after a calm and casual match of II-III

Yeah I dont get it, the only competent BRV players ive seen are the Japs, and even then their pilots were terrible, Like was I was outflying a Ki-84 in a mustang.
But honestly been enjoying the max uptiers, its a nice change of pace, its more fun than facing BR3 as BR1, thats for sure.

you will still get ±1 MM against germany, it is just that cause japan doesnt have enough players for all BR that they have BR3-5.

No, most likely you won’t get thrown into a level 5 match with Germany, but if you load the game and see Japan, there is a 50/50 chance they are level 5. So, if you don’t want to face level 5 Japanese, then do what a lot of people seem to do, desert. 
at this point DF should just delete japan, it brings nothing to the table and make every BR 3 US players life miserable with their aimbotting make believe magical guns
