Since the golden order soldiers can get 20% XP bonus, let the use of weak but matching higher tier weapon also provides a small XP bonus. Of course let them be cheap, too.

I don’t want to see VS weapons in Tunisia/Stalingrad, taking them to BR5 now doesn’t solve that.
The bonus is just an incentive, not a compulsion. These weapons are not used at lower tiers anyway. Even there, they are considered as weak armament.

MKB in Br4 will still have less power in 90% of combat distances than Beretta.

If after unlocking 5 triers, it would be a weapon cheap to research, buy and upgrade + provided XP bonus, use would make more sense.

Only even remotely reasonable “argument” would be to provide HA Immersion, but since you said your motives arent the HA there really isnt even argument to begin with.
Plus there is such thing as “skill cannons” or “swag guns”.
If anyone played BF1 you’ll remember the last dlc Apocalypse introduced some guns like RSC SMG, while far from being power creepy, was instead a way for good players to show “I can beat you even with that”.
No one would be forced to play with mp 3008 in Berlin but if you want to show off, you just as well might.
The biggest benefit here being that VS weapons will be gone from early war maps.

Yes, SVT-38 is BR3 while SVT-40 is BR4.
This is why I want sniper garand to be BR3 and M1C sniper garand to be BR4.
