The user who made the post is asking for others to chime in with what they have in mind as far as weapon br’s and br queues go. So im not in the wrong.
I would say if not adding another que and changing weapon br’s, then they should just make official servers in customs having to do with fronts and time periods and weapon restrictions based off the server you choose but darkflow afterall has very deficient devs and a low number of them. So we can only hope for any of these things when they get more and better devs.
I got great news for you, the Panther A and G are BR4, they always have been since merge.
These would change nothing since BR4 and BR5 queue together, but for formalities I will still point out that these changes are unrealistic.
T34-85 can compete with many BR5 tanks like Tiger E, Tiger II (P), IS-1, Pershing, M4A2 w76 but that is also true for the Panther and Firefly so it wouldn’t be fair towards the Soviets
AVS is tricky, it could be forced down but than again, what for, To make SVT-40 worthless?
Ppsh41 and ppd40 changes make sense I suppose, but than drum 50 Tommy, Kiraly and Mp717 need to moved down as well to BR4, not to mention the premium variants of all of these (except 100 round Thompson).
Fedorov Avtomat is literally the best gun in the entire game, Type Hei automatic rifle does rival it, but that only has 60 rounds while Fedorov has 125 rounds despite firing full power rounds with rifle damage.

feddy is also assaulter/paras only, while hei is for everyone and actually beats most semi auto class ammo(m2 beats it) while feddy is on par for assault rifles but not the assaulter/para weapons, hei also gets better dispersion
Type hei automatic rifle has 0.15 dispersion
Fedorov has 0.25
For reference, FG42 II has 0.22 and StG44 has 0.46 dispersion.
Fedorov is clearly a SF rifle in all aspects except ammo count and class.
Its kinda like it has identity crises.
Then br four can face br 3 and they dont have to be uptierd to br 5 just to br 4 at tunisia and moscow whuich will add to lots of much needed variety at high br.
Honestly would rather just have all maps to all BR’s More variety would be good imo

Not really since the avs 36 starts out on semi auto, and it being at 5 with the avt 40 means the avt 40 completely shadows the avs 36

Weapons are not the issue with the BR system, moving weapons around does nothing to fix the BR issue. ONLY thing that will fix the BR issue with this game is changing the matchmaking ENTIRELY, BR3 players should not be allowed to bully BR1 players, BR5 players should not be bullying BR3 players…This is the only fix that makes any sense: BR1-2 matchmakes separately, BR3-4 matchmakes separately, BR5 matchmakes separately…my reasoning is simple: BR1-2 are bolt action rifles or weak semi auto carbines/rifles with low quality smg’s and mg’s, BR3-4 everyone has semi-auto one shot kill rifles and strong smg’s and mg’s, BR5 has full auto rifles and assault rifles and smg’s mg’s are much better. The vehicles have a few issues with BR rating also, why is a Japanese tank that is worse in every way compared to a Sherman II all the way up at BR4? Why is the KV-1 at BR3 when no other nation has a tank at that battle rating that can penetrate the armor? Devs clearly want gross mismatches to incentivize pay to win content, and the prices are just absurd and only toxic whales are actually buying this content…40-60 bucks for a single squad is not going to grow the game, especially when you allow HORRIBLE mismatches that ruin the experience for everyone except premium players who are too low skilled to compete fairly in War Thunder so they whale in this game and just spawn kill lower BR players from the grey zone…

That’s also why we’re suggesting to change weapon BR’s. If we change these weapon BR’s then it’ll intertwine with each other pretty well. Rather that or just the devs make official servers on customs for each rather campaign or early and late time period of each front with weapon restrictions then that will make it like the OG enlisted at the same time without changing the main queue system. But first darkflow would need to start hiring better devs and talking to other modders on how to make the servers.
I am just saying changing the matchmaking would be a MUCH better change over just moving a few weapons around, I agree some weapons are at the wrong BR but it doesn’t have nearly the same impact on the game as BR3 players bullying BR1 players…therefore why even waste our time nitpicking this or that weapon when the solution is MUCH simpler: BR1-2, BR3-4, BR5 needs to be the matchmaking, this way BR1 content and BR4 content would actually have a purpose, in the current system all of these unlocks are entirely a waste of time and just force new players to grind content they will NEVER use…

Well of course the BRs and queues need changes. But they need to be in the direction of more balance, not (necessarily) more HA.
The OP clearly intended this to be a balance discussion, not HA, which is what BRs are supposed to do.

Your suggestions are clearly in the opposite direction of more balance.
Still no reason to have a SF rifle at anything but top BR. Those things are insanely powerful. Certain weapons being outclassed/succeeded by others in the same tier/BR is just a natural consequence of having a tech tree and BR system. They’re just there to fill out the tech tree, and provide variety for non-competitive people.
Well if we get a BR 3~4 queue and then move some of the BR 5 weapons down to BR 4 like you’re asking for, that is completely meaningless. The (previously) BR 5 weapons will just dominate BR 3 and 4, again.
Just accept that “OG Enlisted”, or whatever it is in your fantasy, is gone. For good.
Kinda don’t wanna tbh. If people want us to go to customs for it, then they might as well make customs THE place for those wants like myself who liked the previous enlisted better.
