Not really hard to know since the merge occurred over a year ago and people should either stop bitching about it or leave the game/ play customs only. Also, its not stupid because balance.

Coincidence for most parts in form of power. Nothing really to do with years. You also have plenty of late war gear lying around in BR1-2.
as much i would love playing berlin 24/7.
not everyone is crazy as me.
nor should.
hence, stalingrad will pretty much remain a high & low br map just like rzhev up until developers will probably make more later war maps.
then, most likely, just like in wt cases, some maps will low their br.
but right now, as other explained better, it will not change.
If they add proper operation bagration maps to replace sgrad then im fine. Otherwise it should remain as playing berlin 24/7 gets boring fast
