Hello guys, in this version of the mod, I chose to finish the cannons, now the is2 has a new sound for its cannon, and internal sounds, such as ricochets, or bullets that pierce the tank, and damage to different components ( transmission, brakes, etc…)

New engine sounds
For tech issues of the game, i cant make sounds for every tank in the game, so, i use a sound who works for all tanks

im playing through all the guns and they sound great, unfortunately the co-ax mg-42’s on the half tracks are busted now, the audio is overlapping pretty bad.

good luck man ive been trying to make the MG-42 sound good for months haha, the co-ax MG doesnt go into the full auto loop it just repeats the single shots, so its near impossible to sound good.

Thank you for the great mod! Many weapons are a lot more satisfying to shoot now. However, I found some sounds are a bit inconsistent in quality. I’ll list it here in case you have time to inspect and consider a tweak or replacement to furthermore improve the mod.

Almost bolt-action rifles’ sound volume and sharpness except the Lee-Enfield rifles are inferior compared to the Mosin rifles. Example:

  • Rifles with Kar98k’s sound, the volume are a bit low.

  • Manlicher M1895 is muffling.

  • Type38 Arisaka rifle is muffling.

  • Type99 rifle may be replaced with the sound of its Sniper variant with some minor tweaks.

  • SIG1920 lacks atmospheric echoing.

  • MGs with Bren’s sound (ie: Vicker, ZB-26, Type100 MG) are not quite as impactful as a machine gun. I like the sound Shane26’s sound mod uses for these guns.

  • MG15, 34, 42. I like the tone but the sound and bass volume is a bit too low making it not quite as impactful as being a suppressive machine gun.

  • Conders MG uses the MP38,40’s sound making it less menacing than it used to be.

  • AVT-40’s sound is muffled and the volume is too low, if it shared the sound with SVT-38,40 would be a lot more satisfying to shoot.

  • Breda PG (CR), (Carcano) rifles are muffing and its atmospheric echoing sound is inconsistent with the sound when in the 1st person view.

  • FNAB43’s atmospheric echoing sound is inconsistent with the sound when in the 1st person view.

  • PPS SMGs and Type 97 MG sound feel a bit too synthetic.

  • Type100 SMG (late) and Tokyo Arsenal SMG are OK but when it fires slower in Type100 SMG (early), the sound feels a bit too synthetic.

  • M1 Garand’s sound is a bit underwhelming.

That’s all I came across with, considering it’s a user feedback I judged it from my personal taste. I hope this can be useful for improving the mod. Thanks again for the great QoL mod!

I understand, and thank you for replying. Personally, the original MP40’s sound sounds ok to me tho, in which you could tweak it from that. I think because the new sound is in a softer tone than the original one thus making its sound less satisfying when the fire rate is higher in Conders.

I really like most of the sound changes you made but there are some that I prefer its original sound (like Arisaka Type 38, M2 Carbine, ZH-29) or wish some certain sounds of your mod could be replaced in another weapon (put SVT-38’s sound on AVT-40 for example). Is there any way or which program to customize your sound mod by myself for personal use?

I’d like to report that the Whirlwind’s 20mm mg shared the sound with Soviet tank DT gun, now it has a bullet drop sound on plane too. Anything you can do about that?
