Right now, Feb 2023. Less than 7 months away from final release.
As what they planned

We plamn to launch Early Access in 2020. Before the Early Access there will be several stages to gather opinions and feedback and to adjust the game balance: Closed Alpha test, Closed Beta test and Early Access. Alongside, we’re eager to launch the Early Access with a quality and feature set as close to the final version as possible. After Early Access launch there will be only optimization, balance and polishing work. Early Access will last for a few months.
I am not very happy about current version of Enlisted if it is a released version.
IMO Enlisted’s actual main gameplay is months long progression grinding. This is how a F2P game works. (Hope dev can actually FIX the extreme grinding and nearly unreachable campaign progression for new players in upcoming update.)
But beside this, I dont get much of other additional gameplay, or fun, or the thing that attracting to me. All other details can keep player away from focusing on long grinding, and explore some other fun things in game to extend playable hours. Not by the disgusting marathon event.
Yeah, as a multiplayer combined arm FPS game, Enlisted delivered it.
This already can provide a pretty complex and diverse FPS gameplay that will attract player for dozens to hundreds of gaming hours.
But as a WW2 FPS, it really dosent provide a good immersiveness in military and historical aspects.
Enlisted as its name, is trying to do something “universal”, switching from Japan to Soviet, beside the logo, soldiers, and maps changed. It just lack something. Something clearly showing me about how Eastern Front were, and how Pacific were.
Dev do deliver the pretty accurate uniform and weapons and vehicles.
But what about other stuff? Like war songs, posters and background stories?
Please keep making each campaign (or faction, as I think you are going to emerge them.) differs from each other. It’s hard to describe how to do it specifically, just look at some other games that do well in this part.
Also, current 10vs10 squad, the more you play, the more boring it is.
Due to too few players (and human), the whole match feels like the “lone wolf” mode. Not much communication, interaction or coordinance between players. Everyone is “equal” but in other hand, “lone wolf”.
We may need something (game or a player) ordering team to do something together.
Maybe it’s time to introduce something called “squad leader” and “team leader”.
Also, you let individual to select role in the match beginning, while allowing player interchange, or switch to roles if empty. (Let players select squad/roles again after match begins)
Even now, player still mostly play few squads carried to match. Because of squad XP grinding.
So letting player select to play one or two roles across an entire match isnt that unrealistic.
After playing squad mode for 3 years, I’m kind of bored of it.
Beside these. I also want to address some quality concern.
Especially, the control and animation.
I dont know if this is fixed.
Even if it is fixed, this game’s aiming is still not good as other FPS game. Why I have to quit ADS from ADS to ADS with ZOOM???
Also lots of weapon with ammo belt arent really broken. The belt…
Where’s the animation when switching gun’s semi/auto selector?
Where’s weapon’s zero distance function? It’s there in the menu, but where to use it? Especially for tanks.
Also there’s plenty of complains about animation quality. Running, jumping, aiming, and lots others not looking good in 3rd person view.
Also graphic.
This game’s graphic back in OAT, is pretty amazing. The textures, the lighting, the overall hardware demand.
But now in 2023, and in next 5~10 years, will this plastic like graphic stand for this long? Let alone significant quality decline for the newer released campaign.
Where is RTX? When will DX12 fixed and available for public?
Where’s new player models? Newer campaigns suffers a lot of lacking uniform variant. Just tons of repaint.
ATM these are what I have think of. But there’s definitely more.
Just dont bring us half finished mechanism like what you used to do!
