either the t34-57, or… kv2.

imo, and experience,
it’s best to use airplanes when dealing with germans and you fear of uptiers while not having much br IV vehicles related.

either that, or… get close with panzerfausts.

T-34 STZ and KV1 obv.

Just dont bother shoot Panther to its frontal plate.

Nah, just don’t bother to even fight a panther.
Panther and Tiger have 100+ armor, they are just immune to F-34 and L-11

If you get uptier just play plane.
Don’t block the tank slot for BRIV teammate to spawn T-34-85

Yet somewhat I destroyed many Pathers/tigers with those tanks. (Back when those tanks actually were facing tiger E, nowadays it’s extremely rare for you to came across H1 variant)

But if you want to trade the infantry support role for a AT role, suit yourself.

If you uptiered and saw Jumbo and Panther, don’t use your tank, that’s the only way.

  2. He would easily OHK jumbo with Soviet BR3 tanks through its MG weakspot.

But expect everything to fight together soon like WT.

I think im gonna need dedicated anti tank role tank because to clear infantry concentration I’d rather use bombs and rockets

If uptiered I take attackers with rockets instead. The tank is simply for downtier or even tier quick response against enemy far tanks

  • I think T-34 STZ is the best all-round Soviet BR3 tank in terms of damage/kills per minute and mobility/armor.

  • Soviet BR3 tank that can damage Panther/Tiger is T-34-57

  • Best way to deal with Panther/Tiger in case uptiered is Panzerfaust or planes (if you know how), not tanks

So basically STZ is the go to all rounder if you encounter BR 3 or below?

Yes, but you can just as easily take 1941 if you don’t have STZ.

STZ has almost panther like frontal armor, however regular T34 turret armor. It will however be useless against BR4 enemies.

KV1 has crazy strong armor - arguably too strong (100mm+ pen bounces regularly) and thus is OP against low BR but also like STZ useless against BR4 targets.

I prefer STZ actually, because mobility has its value in this game.

But I do think more people should get comfortable with using the T34 57, it has Panzer IV like pen and can defeat both Tiger and Panther.

That being said - I think the devs should move SU85 to BR3 and lower its armor to 45mm.

Do you mean to actually add basic SU-85 instead of SU-85M that’s currently present in the game?

SU85M has no place in this game, just like Jagdpanzer IV L48 - both are useless in high BR matches but would be totally OP in BR3 - so SU85 should be replaced with regular SU85 ( or get APCR for SU85M so that BR4 soviets have something to deal with getting uptiered)

Actually isnt SU85M even BR5 right now? Dont remember.

Anyway regular SU85 should be BR3, and Jagdpanzer IV L48 should get 80mm of armor instead of 60mm (historically even accurate)

I bring both STZ and kv 1 l11. Stz is good for aggressive push in attack due to speed or dealing with enemy tanks due to better pen. Kv 1 is more suitable in defense where the thick armour will help you survive against most threats
