• You are in Berlin… bombing is not an amazing thing
• You can exp any way very nicely with any bomber compared to a fighter. Gold order should then be spend in priority for fighter plane.
• Just use a stuka. Stuka is slower, but more precise and it scares people with the sirens. FW190 D12 fly like a brick

1. Indeed some Berlin maps are unfit for CAS, but others do have open and exposed cap points (and surroundings) practically asking “bomb me”.
2. The D12 is great in that it can fulfill both roles.
3. Much higher speed allows the D12 to deliver more bombing runs in the same amount of time. After bombing, you can also reliably score some extra kills by strafing with the 30mm.
   You will have a hard time dogfighting 1v1 russian fighters, but you can pull some tricks by using takeoff flaps and exploiting vertical loops rather than flat turns.
   The only real downside is the well known sideslip issue, that can be worked around but requires some practice to get used to.

TLDR I love my Papagei D12

Why the Suvorov T-34-85 wasn’t in the list considering this is one of the best tanks in the game? I love my Suvorov T-34-85 so much that even beginners can skip the inferior starter one with 5 crew members that comes with a dedicated commander and gunner. Having a fully upgraded tank is a huge difference compared to stock tanks in terms of mobility especially speed and handling.

Even the IS-2 can only supplement this tank not completely replacing it so even at max level this tank is still with my lineup and my main workhorse tank supported by the IS-2.

T34 aren’t even good against the second tank the German unlock: the panther.

For inexperienced tankers yeah Panther can be a problem but an experienced tanker like me because War Thunder experience can fight Panthers even head on as long as the T-34 driver knows the weakspots. Panthers can be one shotted at the right turret cheeks along with the side turret or side hull. Hull MG port is an option but the turret face is much bigger target.

This tank can even fight Tigers and King Tigers as long as the driver knows what he’s doing.

Sure disadvantages of the T-34-85 include a weaker hull, gun depression and optics but this is still a capable tank even better than the IS-2 in some areas.

Well, as I stated, everything else seems to be down to personal preference and upgrades. I simply think the tanks listed above give a new player more of a boost than an incrimental upgrade from the starter T-34 D-5T.

In the long term, T-34-85 is one of the best investments for the gold vehicle card even better than the T-50 that will eventually be replaced by the T-28E and T-34 with the better firepower.

Many of the gold tanks just suffer from power creep while the starter tanks are not worth it to spend gold card on. Even M4A2 Sherman sure may be better than the Stuart but the problem is it doesn’t stand a chance against Tigers and Panthers.

Normandy Panther is just personal preference where I honestly prefer the Tiger in Normandy because of the 88mm.

Regarding the T-34 STZ, yeah I love the camo and decals of this one and ended up spending a gold on it despite being full access in Stalingrad with free decals instead of spending gold.

Yeah, but if you buy it you can use IT, only you need replace the KV1 for T34 STZ
its a trick, i buy it when I didn’t have the Stalingrad pass

never, because T50 can be used from lvl 3 and is a lvl20+ tank, this argument and that he is almost indestructible will probably make him number 1 forever.

Makes sense for a low level player as the T-34 in Moscow is at level 37 while the T-28E, level 34. I have the gold T-50 for a long time but I never use it as I only started using tanks more in Moscow when the T-28E came out and even more with the T-34.

I don’t like the 45mm much especially the HE compared to higher caliber ones and as much as possible I prefer to one shot enemy tanks with the 76mm instead of killing crew members one by one with the 45mm in the case of Moscow. Atleast its still better than the T-60 that many low level Soviet players use instead of giving the slots to guys with better tanks.
