Berlin and Moscow, BR requirement rework

I would like to point out that on the Americans, BR 1-3 gets you into Tunisia and Pacific. HOWERVER if you que in at BR4, you still have a chance of getting into Pacific.

Many players que in on Americans at BR4 with the specific intention of fighting at top tier in the Pacific and often desert if they get put into Normandy.

There are MANY of us that really want access to the Moscow maps back, without having to drop all the way back down to low tier, such as @ModGage , Tier 5 Russian, I miss the Moscow maps.

Along with this the devs have noted that seeing BR5 weapons and vehicles in Moscow maps would be too powerful.

SUGGESTION:

Change up the maps that are given according to certain BR in terms of Soviets and Germans.

  • Matchmaking at specifically BR5 for the Soviets will only allow Stalingrad and Berlin (like how it is currently), however,

    • Matchmaking at BR1-4 will only allow Stalingrad and Moscow.

For Germans:

  • Matchmaking at BR5 will only allow you to get into Stalingrad, Berlin, and Normandy, against other BR5 players

    • Matchmaking at BR3-4 will still allow players to get into lobbies of BR3-4 Normandy, Stalingrad and Moscow

Summary:

Essentially change up the BR lobbies to

  • 1-3
  • 3-4
  • 5

With BR3-4 of Soviets and Germans being able to get into Moscow, but BR5 is not.

So, at br5 germans only fight in normandy, bulge and berlin. Soviets fight in berlin and stalingrad at br 5. l think this will further split up the player base because right now there are really only 2 ques and this would make a third one. At least it would stop br5 from murdering br3. Also, you’ll have a hard time convincing the historical accuracy people and the devs.

As far as historical accuracy goes, the devs have noted a lot of that is going out the window. that said, by buddy @ModGage was trying to use the squads he had obtained and used in Moscow pre-merge, but now is not able to get into Moscow with them. Which I find VERY ridiculous.

As far as splitting up the lobbies, I honestly think it will have the reverse effect.
Why?
Because as it is right now there are a massive amount of players quitting out of games because they either got uptiered or are playing on maps they despise. This causes a lot of issues when it comes to trying to fill games.

I think that by splitting the BR in this way will actually help deal with a lot of that, reducing the effect of uptiering, and lets players have a higher chance of getting into the campaigns that they like the maps on.
