Bayonet for Mosin M1907 carbine - research

Good evening everyone.I noticed that on the forum people sometimes complain that there is no bayonet for Mosin M1907 carbine. I also think that this is injustice, but here’s the problem, there was no bayonet for the Mosin M1907 carbine. So I used to think, but now I’m not sure. Because I found this:

I found that this is some rare flat bayonet Bryansk factory.

Actually, The carbine itself

Mosin carbine, rev. 1907 Izhevsk. Only Wood restored, the rest of the original

I also found information that for the carbine, in addition to the bayonet, were developed a spring breech block to reduce recoil and namushnik .But I am primarily interested in the bayonet. Here, by the way, I found this photo.

Is it not a 1907 Mosin carbine with a bayonet?

What’s the problem, you ask? And the problem is that I’ve only found information about this bayonet in a couple of sources. Nowhere else in the Internet information about it I have not found. But as practice has shown, not everything about weapons, especially about weapons of such a solid age, is easy to find.

I managed to find a photo of the bayonet itself

The bayonet is really rare, but factory production. This is really a bayonet Bryansk factory, they had such a bayonet, the only bayonet of their (Bryansk factory) development, which got to the troops. Came to the front at the end of World War I in the fall of 1917, in small batches. The bayonet is not widely known, not well known.

But nevertheless I suggest adding a bayonet to the Mosin M1907 carbine, since the Mosin M1907 carbine is the only starter rifle in the game that does not have a bayonet. If the information in this post is not enough, I will look further in that direction.

What do you think about it?

As far as I know the Mosin 1938 Carbine never even was designed to accept a bayonet yet it has it in game, so really they don’t even need a real world historical reason to add a bayonet to the 1907.

That’s not how it works, unfortunately. You can’t understand the logic of the developers. I will hope that this post is enough, but maybe I’ll have to make 5-6 more of these posts with different new facts, digs and documents to force the developers to add a bayonet to the 1907 Mosin carbine, and then most likely the helper will say that he passed, and the developers will just ignore it.

Unless they changed the barrel width or the front sight there’s no reason why the 1938 carbine wouldn’t be able to use the standard 91/30 bayonet. Only big difference I can see is that the barrel after the front sight is shorter, which doesn’t really affect the bayonet’s ability to stay on.
And the 1907 is incompatible with the standard socket bayonet for obvious reasons so they’d literally have to invent something new or have the normal mosin bayonet clipping through the gun…

Yeah I’m not a big gun guy so IDK how it works, this is just what I have read. Someone more knowledgeable would have to confirm or deny.
