As the first battle pass Season of 2025 is just around the corner, I would like to mention a problem, that arises with the current system for the battle pass. We´ve already seen what is planned for the first two bp seasons of 2025 and can therefore tell, that for those, who don´t play Br V soviets, Br III Japan, Br III USA or higher, there won´t be any weapons from the Battle Pass they would be able to use without switching to another nation or higher Br. In Addition to that NOBODY will obtain free tanks or aircrafts from the bp anymore and then there is the premium soldier situation. Let´s assume you are playing BR II and only one nation. Then you would get a random soldier every other season, assuming the soldier doesn´t happen to be a flametrooper. Instead of frustrating these players you could give them the option to choose, for which nation they would like to receive weapons, tanks, planes and soldiers. I think it would also be generally appreciated if there were more low Br stuff sprinkled in Battle Passes and maybe also events.

That is correct. But thats the whole point of everything higher than Br II.
Obviously stuff with a higher Br than you play is useless for you. But there is a difference between researching high Br stuff because you want to play high Br and then not being able to use it in low Br and only getting stuff from the bp you can´t use, while earlier you could choose between weapons (and by extension Br)

One of the reasons i loved this game so much was the freedom of choice it gave you, well they took that away didnt they? I really hope they recend the thought process of this new BP, this isnt the right direction.
I think its a bigger problem than only BP. Its is content strategy at large. Like why the fuck did all content of the last update go to US? They got a new map to play, a tiger-level tank with the super pershing, an assault rifle with the hyde, two infantry squads and a tank squad for money and in the BP the got the Winchester semi-auto. All of this content besides the Chinese infantry squad is also BRIII+

Look, not saying Soviets should get more or anything like that, but rather; spread out content so all nations get something for every update, spread out through BR’s as much as possible.
For instance, a soviet BRII squads for gold and the TT plane, an American BRV tank and a BRII gun, etc.
Then for instance, if a faction gets a map, you dont give them as much, since they will be played anyway. In this way you ensure all the factions will be played and there is something for everyone.
Honestly it is what it is. I’m fairly indifferent to the change, although I am enjoying my multiple GOW’s I’m getting now
DF’s job is to make equipment across the entire spread of BRs and factions. A new gun will come pretty much every month. If you don’t like this BP, don’t get it. Or get it, and have every BP (and thus 4x copies of every new gun) as long as you spend your BP gold wisely. You’re getting way more guns than the previous system.
It’s not their job to cater to people who only play a certain BR or certain faction. Self imposed limitations on content should not be taken into consideration. For those who have not reached BR 5 yet, now they have some nice new guns to go ahead and kit some squads with for when they hit that BR.
I know that we do get more weapons overall, but the point is, that it can be truly disappointing if you dont get anything you want to use. (i.e. when you dont want to play high Br because it is too sweaty or you dont want to play russia because you hate the maps and so on) This is especially frustrating when realising that you got the choice with the old system, meaning you could decide wich faction and Br you choose.

But there’s just one little thing. Players previously (under gold order format) had the option to choose which faction’s weapons and which BR they would get.
Devs just took that comfort away from the players. So now it’s no surprise that players are unhappy.
Except we were given a choice beforehand with the universal gold orders. Now they’ve decided to take that away. A F2P can never get more of one gun nowadays. I always preferred to save orders to get more of the guns I want and not one of each which includes shit I never wanted in the first place.
I mean….eh? I guess? The GO income was so rare that there wasn’t much of a choice anyways. We got what, maybe 3-4 GOs every 3 months, if one played every event to completion? I personally find the sheer scale of stuff we’re getting better than having an occasional choice. I’m admittedly biased, because I play all factions across a spread of BRs, so I’ll end up using it just to use it. Honestly I wish they’d used this setup in the beginning, and it definitely will be better for players who start now.
But really, if someone doesn’t want something, they can just skip buying the BP, still get an individual item, and just pick up the one that’s interesting. DF has also set a precedent with the inclusion of the M2A1 as an event weapon, so it’s also very possible that we can see returns and reruns in events.
I think theyre strategy is to give things to factions with the least amount of players so as to pull people from the most played factions(germany specifically)
The why give everything to US and nothing to Soviet? US seems to be more popular than Soviet. And what about Japs? They have a loyal players base but not a big one. The cue’s are always longest with them.

I guess to put it in perspective, both germany and the us fight 2 foes but theres still not enough people in us to mach the germans. The simpler fix would be to make a map where the soviets and japanese fight, but I feel like they dont want to do that for some reason. But yeah your right soviets are getting (redacted) on the battlefield atm. Also dont underestimate the japanese mains, those guys go hard.
Except players can’t horde orders to make individual purchases en masse. I personally don’t want that to be the case, had the Condors been released this season for example, I wouldn’t be able to purchase 4 of them as I had done before since I am a F2P
