The main difference is that it is classified as semi rifle. And thus can be used by classes other than assaulters (for example engineers or AT gunners).
Unlike StG, since that’s classified as assault rifle.

In terms of ammunition capacity, it really deserves the BR II, and there are other toggle versions in Germany, one of which is the Stendebach model 1936 automatic rifle, and the second is the Walter model 1918 shotgun
Dear devs, I really think you should reconsider removing golden orders and the shop system in battle pass, let me explain why.
First of all, what are the gold orders ? They are a currency that you can farm by doing battle pass tasks even for free account, currency you use to get battle pass reward of your choice. That my friends is very great, you give player choice of the reward and most importantly the possibility to get it. Because even if you dislike the new battle pass gun you can still buy older one or save it for future reward by doing the present battle pass. That mean if you can’t play for a season or you don’t have time to farm, you can always farm later to get what you want and that is great and I don’t think many other games with battle pass systems has achieves something as good as this.
All of this thanks to the shop that hold all of the items of present and past battle pass. Yes somme of the older items are removed after some time but you have plenty of time before it happen and sometime it may come back like right now when all of them are here (by the way great idea, why not do this more often ?).
So you have already a really great system that is really player friendly, that let player plays when they want to play and still be able to get and enjoy battle pass exclusive content.
Now if we compare it to your new formula, I think we loose a lot of great things and not really gaining anything from it for both us the players and also for you as a company.
Personally I don’t mind having only one gun, vehicle and soldier per season, if it give you time to create more content for the game, I am all in favor about it. No, the main problem is you have no choice. You have to do this specific battle pass or accept to not get the reward and that’s it. So if a player can’t farm it at the time (time that is shorter than before) he canot have the new great stuff you have made. And yes you can add them maybe through events but the problems stay the same, you have not many opportunity to get the item you wanted, or you can maybe add them on loot create but your chance of getting what you want are absurdly low too, even more after each new gun added on the loot create.
You also have player that just want to do other things and don’t play your game all the time. Those player too will loose from this new system, because if they want this new shiny gun they have to play right now to get it and it can create situation when you have a felling of obligation to play your games. And that felling is I think something you really don’t want to happen to your players, because most of them I believe are here to enjoy some free time after school or work, and personally I play to have fun and I don’t want to have the felling I have to “work” every day to get the 9 or 4 tasks for free to play (nice increase by the way) complete to get my “pay” at the end of the month and don’t have possibility to farm later when I have more time to spend in the game.
Another simple exemple is if a player don’t like the item but have the time to farm, he will not buy it because he simply don"t like it. When with the older system the player can still want to purchase it precisely to buy some older or future rewards.
Now imagine in your new system you include a real good gun or a tank that is last BR 5 power level. You will have player that can’t get it and some will curse the game saying it’s a “pay to win battle pass” (witch is not by the way). For exemple look at the G43 kurz you had to nerf multiple times. ( that is off topic but since you give one to russian, maybe you could give him back his burst fire mod ? 
)
So in the end it will be harder for people to get the stuff they want due to time restriction, some will not buy it simply because they don’t like the content, and you will have some player that will accuse the game to be pay to win.
So please, all I ask is for you to take some time to reconsider your strategy about it. Instead of removing great stuff leave it be as they are now, I mean I don"t think changing the entire system was so urgent and I really think it work great as it is with gold order. If you really want to improve your system, why not just let the shop as it is right now with all past season item ? Or at least bring them all back for christmas or the game anniversary. It will let player get what they want and for those who have no time but money they can always get them by buying gold. It will be beneficial for everyone.

However we now have some Italian assaulters available, which is a rare iccasion (at least before DF adds nationality changing options)

Yeah retrospectively too if that is possible. I have some really usselesly weak BP soldiers
I asked something similar time ago (1 year or so) I was told that it was impossible to do due to technical limitations or something. So very likely the useless gold order soldiers stay like that sadly
Do not try to buy those, are bugged. Me and some other players bought italian gold order assaulters when they returned to the shop but never appeared and the order was consumed. Still unsolved I think. It’s weird they are showing, I’m sure they said had removed them temporarily due to the bug.
So before all gold order vehicles are gone, anyone found any cool “buy this GO vehicle and use 2x/3x the same vehicle” situations?
I saw that buying the GO Pz III N and having Stalingrad Pz III N lets you have 3 of them, all in different squads.
Anything else worth buying?

I guess T-34-85 Suvorov can be useful for those who want to run 2 of those 5 man versions alongside each other.
Also the suvorov skin gets that cool white stripe
I can recommend any BR3 Sherman. Skins are really beautiful + it’s one of the best BR3 tank after the ammo changes.
What happened after close BP shop?
All the tank plane hero weapons just gone?
or is there any plan to re-sell the items?

In my opinion the US has the weakest BR 4 equipment out of all the factions. I’d stick to BR 3 or 5 US.
