They have been doing these things for many seasons, from WT Live, Gaijin Market, or War Thunder’s own grind-able skins and premium vehicles. (I actually wrote a series of articles about them but in another language)
Among the remaining vehicles, Darkflow has started to fabricated randomly from recent seasons, like the Chi-To, Ho-I, Chi-Nu, all family together.

Another funny thing is, players can already try out the next BP season’s vehicles.
Yeah keep telling yourself that. In the past year it’s been:
L(Fantasy weapons and vehicles)
After L(Guerillas)
After L(Loot crates)
After L(CoD tier Skins for weapons and Vehicles)
This is coming from someone whos spent quite a significant chunk of change on this Sinking Ship. If you think 6k peak players daily is a growing game you are dellusional.
I love this game because it has the potential to be great, but it seems like DF simply aint interested in making this game good. They simply want to boil the frog so-to-speak with ever so slight “imporvements” to monetization.
NEWS FLASH: Taking away player choice is NEVER an improvement.
You have LIED about fixing issues(Stairs no longer making the player character bob his weapon)
You have IGNORED major issues(Bipods, Rocket collisions, Dog S*** AI)
And you are now killing your golden goose with this “Improvement” to the BP and GO system.
Please take these criticism to heart and reverse course on this. I dont want this game to go the way Heroes and Generals went.
Finally I want to express how much I truly enjoy this game. You guys truly built the WW2 game I always wanted it is just HA enough to be immersive but not too HA to be a MilSim circlej**k.
A WW2 game where the 6 main Factions can battle in HA battlefields with a unique Squad Mechanic that makes it stand out(although it needs some serious work honestly). Featuring a fair level of parity between the factions that makes it so we can see and use some of the more obscure weapona of the war. Truly WT fro infantry.
You got a great product in your hands.

or being the snowballing team in attack games
we need to let people time to build things and prepare for defense.

there is some middleground between milsim and this game

for me the squad mechanic is what kills this game. 
I guess they are already counting on the usual two-week postponing, lol.
It’s either that or i guess we will have two battlepasses at same time (or sometimes three like Halloween greedy BP)
6 new guns in 300 days, for 4(6) nations in a year.
And 1 of them is a br5 ppsh reskin.

As always F2P players get more and more screwed. No free 100 gold no GO Vehicle order, no any GO of any kind with login or doing BP missions
So what excatly got improved now (for F2P at least)?
They would get a free BP after 10 months of grinding like zombies, we can’t have that you gotta paaaaaay! - DF
You get 1 GO gun and GO soldier after ~25-30 days instead of after ~60-70 days.
But you lose free GO Vehicle, 100 gold and also free GO Solider from military rank goals (or maybe it was a gold vehicle too? I don’t remember).
