I highly disagree with how this sounds, Enlisted has been so far my best experience when it comes to Battlepass progression and especially rewards, why? Because those Gold Orders for Weapons and Vehicles gives me A CHOICE of what I want, for example if at one point the new shiny BP weapon is introduced but I’m not interested at all I can still pay you for the Battlepass and play as usual because regardless of the new weapon I receive an order of which I can use on any of the older available BP Weapons so it’s a big win-win for DF/Gaijin and the players since those who want the new weapon can acquired it and those who don’t can still get a different weapon from the broad and diverse roaster of options on the shop, phasing this out seems like a horrible idea to me because it only creates even more FOMO and decreases the value the Battlepass has for me as a paying customer, the fact you guys want to use previous BP rewards for future events sounds like a move to not introduce new content at all and just do re runs infinitely while you can just re add those retired BP weapons onto the shop and that would be more appreciate it.
Just to make sure and to be clear, is it 4 weapons of each of the new ones like in the current system where I can buy with orders or with Gold 4 Lahti-Saloranta M/26 or 4 weapons as in just one Lahti-Saloranta M/26, one Scotti Mod, one LAD, one Thompson BSA?
Not to “F it go back” but I think the BP should stay the same. In my opinion it was completely fine.
It was long enough that we had a lot of time to play. It was better to get gold orders so we can choose what weapon we want. And not to even mention that we could get a vehicle order for free
I understand what’s trying to be achieved here and I can appreciate the positives of a shorter pass that gives rewards quicker and is more robust in its formatting.
But I really do think that player choice is an important aspect. In saying that I’m very worried about how players will be able to receive older battlepass rewards in a consistent manner with the eventual removal of Gold Orders and the new battlepass formatting.
I think there’s a way that this new battlepass system and gold orders can still coexist. The approach of 1 free gun from the battlepass and 3 gold orders would work a lot better. It would give players the choice of receiving the remaining 3 guns from the current battlepass, or choosing 3 different guns from whatever nation they choose.
Even if need be reduced the gold orders by 1 in the aforementioned, at the end of the day it’d be an improvement over what’s received currently whilst still maintaining important player choice.
I hope the developers and staff here will take the feedback openly and consider the main concern of player choice.
I really do wish the best for Enlisted and I want it to succeed and be loved.
Why remove gold orders when you can just cycle/change gold order shop item availability. This change seems unnecessary and very unwanted by the vast majority.
