I must agree with you, I get more for the same money, in exchange for not being able to pick my reward anymore.
I dont really mind because I already have everything researched so these new BP items can all get used, but for new players who only play one faction, this might not be such a great deal…
Imagine that you are a new player playing for the European Axis, if you buy elite pass you get 2 soldiers, one which is only useful if you unlock Japan guerilla squad, the american guy when you start playing US.
two tank camos you wont be able to use for months.
4 submachine guns that are very cool, but those are your only BR5 weapons.
Its clear that the devs want you to play all factions, but this way the deal might not be as lucrative as it should be.
In my opinion we should keep the BP weapons store just for this alone.
For me personally this is not a pro but rather a con, honestly.
I might be getting more for the same money but what’s it worth if the “more” is something I will never ever use (like fake guns that were never used in WW2).
I would much rather get 1 gold order and spend it on 1 unique weapon that I will love and use rather than receive 5, 10 or 50 prototype weapons which will just collect dust in my inventory.
In addition, you won’t be able take a break from the game for more than one month - and not miss out on BP stuff.
Up until now, we could at least buy those things after taking longer break from playing the game. If it was something we really wanted.
The time reserve before the stuff was removed from the shop was pretty huge.
Under new BP format. If you miss out on something, you’ll have to rely on either events or possibly loot boxes.
Which is just another unnecessary level of stress.
TBH, it gonna cause amount of players to burnout with this method of constant feeding in a short period of time. FOMO until they can’t catch up anymore because people have real life stuff to do too.
Jeah and since Insignias on Uniform are gone, we can choose between grey and green sometimes dark grey Uniform… Enlisted is going down the road i feel…
W: addition of 50 free gold for Free (with reduced bp length is on par or better than before)
L: changing GO vehicles to skins. Sorry I prefer the unique vehicle. A: Some vehicles can be used with legacy squads and B: saving the silver to have a fully leveled vehicle is really a big pro to getting them.
As others mentioned: Please give us a silver sale for these appearance orders, some of us dont use them and they just pile up, as such they are basically just no reward when you get them for those that don’t use them.
