For F2P 3 Battlepass seasons (the approximate length of just 1 old Battlepass season), you will get 150 Gold now.
You used to be able to get 100 Gold per single 3-month Battlepass season as F2P.
This therefore means that, in the same time period, F2P players will be earning MORE Gold than ever before for free from the new BP.

Old battle passes also gave us at least one free vehicle (you know, actual vehicles, not bloody skins), soldier and/or gun that is technically far above the value of 50 additional gold (depending on season length (s)) since soldier and weapon GO are equal to 750 gold and vehicle orders to 1250(?).
So even if we say that the nee GO gives 150 gold if 3 new seasons equals 1 old season, resulting in 600 gold/ 200 gold more per year than old BPs with 400 gold, that is still not close to the old value of ONE BP season (unless my math is wrong).
Ofc we could include the new free weapon order as value but I don’t know if we can give it the same gold value as the gold order since we can’t choose the item anymore and as of now, we can’t buy new battle pass stuff with gold anyways.
Not to mention the occasional free gold order from events but let’s be fair they are not included in the BP.

Well, what I can say is that, so far with the new BP system, there have been no delays - developers hope to keep it that way with the new changes!

Objection, players without elite pass can now complete 4 instead of 3 tasks everyday.
A little quality of life change there.
Plus as far as I remember vehicle GOs were only avaible with elite bp

Objection II: Free players now only get one weapon they might dont even want/ can use without getting uptiered.
Iirc they rotated the free order. Sometimes, it was a weapon, sometimes it was a soldier. I don’t know 100% if it was also vehicles.
Old bp used to rotate between weapon and vehicle GO for f2p i know this since i remember it quite well
So if the current bp is weapon GO for f2p then the next one would be vehicle GO
Finding out it’s just a skin is like getting a date with a hot chick, then you get her home only to find out she’s a dude.

Personally i kind of like the idea of skins instead of vehicles. But maybe it would be better if the skins were universal, so you could apply them wherever you want instead on only one tank.
Would also give it a more personal touch

Yes but players get more under 3 months,
Before they got 1 weapon GO and 1 soldier GO.
Now they get 3 BP weapons and 3 BP soldiers at price of choice.
The real problem is the removal of the BP store, not the amount of rewards.

It’s great that we finally have a KT skin. There are so many great historical examples to draw from. I really hope we eventually get one of the famous “Octopus camouflage” King Tigers.

Amount only works if they don’t postpone the launch of new seasons which they already did when they had fewer seasons to handle per year.
Amount of vehicles is also still 100% less.
And the overall gold value/ amount of rewards is still zero.
Since you changing the Gold Order system will be nice if you give people gold order weapons refund when you can sell your old gold order weapons for a gold order and change them with the ones you like before removing them and going with the new system.

Yet the current BP season has been much longer than just one month.
But I get it. Christmas is a good excuse. So why not take advantage of it.
I just wonder how consistent they’ll be in that one month format.

not sure what’s here to celebrate.
feels like everyone just gave up and claims to be happy despite getting the bare minimum.
which it’s even less than past bps.
and the 100 free gold for new folks and others have been reduced to 50.
and now, instead of vehicles, just skins too.
i suppose it makes sense given gold order vehicle going away ( for no reason either )
with skins that you will not be able to keep the base marking because now will be enbedded.
funny to think that people weren’t using the t70 stalingrad skin because it overided both the paint scheme and the markings. but apparently complaints weren’t enough to revert actual gold order vehicles ability to keep the markings but change the base color scheme.
it really does…

The devs are making a mistake with the removal of the bp shop for sure.
Whats the point with the new format, where a BP only gives one faction a gun? Why get the BP when you dont like the gun or don’t even play the faction?
If anything, less people are gonna buy battle pass now.
