The decisive naval battle of World War II near Midway Atoll, which took place between June 4 and 7 in 1942, ended in a crushing defeat for the Imperial Japanese Navy. Thanks to the successful deciphering of Japanese codes, Admiral Nimitz organized a strategic ambush using the Enterprise, Hornet, and Yorktown aircraft carriers to surprise the Japanese fleet.
Over the course of the battle, American aircraft sank four key Japanese aircraft carriers (Akagi, Kaga, Sōryū, Hiryū) and a heavy cruiser (Mikuma), while losing only the Yorktown and the destroyer Hammann.
This battle dramatically changed the balance of power in the Pacific theater, halting Japanese expansion and giving the strategic advantage to the United States.
From June 4th (13:00 UTC) to June 10th (13:00 UTC), you can get rewards for completing tasks.

Tasks
Phase 1 (June 4th - June 6th):
Kill 40 enemies using a submachine gun.
Kill 30 enemies using a semi-auto rifle.
Complete 5 battles.
Phase 2 (June 6th - June 8th):
Destroy 4 vehicles.
Kill 50 enemies using a machine gun.
Complete 5 battles.
Phase 3 (June 8 - June 10th):
Kill 50 enemies using a vehicle.
Build rally points and deploy APCs that will be used 30 times.
Complete 5 battles.
Terms
The tasks can be completed in the Squads mode.
The list of tasks is updated every two days at 13:00 UTC.
Tasks can be completed simultaneously.
Uncollected rewards will disappear when the tasks change.
From June 10th (13:00 UTC) to June 12th (13:00 UTC), after the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to purchase any missing rewards for Gold.
I’m not sure if there’s AI art used here or not but you could have still given the Americans or the Japanese something more interesting instead of just more decals.
After watching every other faction receive cool new rewards like new weapons and vehicles, we Japan players finally get the greatest reward of them all!!

Nice awful filler event for waiting for the major update. Is that all we are going to get? Esp with a player base that is dipping below 5k avg now based on steamDB
The best thing for the Japanese people is themselves for they were the true heroes in the end and they don’t need anything fancy when they have their swords and the Japanese spirit and the belief in the emperor.
We will finally get decals which makes sense and 20 of them for all factions and I’m sure the community will be so grateful that we had something which should have been in the game from the get go and something we should have probably not had to grind for or pay for.
