The cost is lower damage and slower firing rate, only players with extremely low skills would consider it the best.
Ironically, MG42 is not difficult to control either.
assuming vitality, the TTK differency is 0.02 seconds.
And with bodyarmor its 0.01 seconds.

Maybe because i want to have fair treatment when i play as all countries? Right now Soviets and Americans get unfair treatment. While only Germany has to master recoil control with their MGs, RD-44 = spray with no recoil, M1919A6/Bren = spray with only a small recoil, MG42 100 = canât spray as you will miss every shot.
Only American lmg that have some recoil is Vickers and Stinger while both have also higher rof and Stinger has 200 rounds.
And? Donât act like RD-44 is a bolt action rifle you have 99 more rounds to wipe out entire squads. Besides nobody at BR5 going to not run Vitality and body armor is very prevalent so itâs always disadvantage for Germany. Both RD-44 and MG42 100 are two hit kill weapons. And RD-44 is just superior due itâs accuracy/close to no dispersion while moving.
Look at your teammates who use Pz.2 in BR5. Is it hard to understand? Donât make people think that you havenât played games.
Even though the firing rate of RD44 is lower, do you think it is less important to kill an enemy with two bullets? I see, this problem will only become a problem if it appears here in MG42.

Rof doesnât matter if your gun canât ADS fast enough to react to a new threat that is blasting at you and in that scenario RD-44 will win every time as it has fast ADS + amazing accuracy while ADS/hipfiring.
Both guns kill in two hits so 9.9 or 13.2 dmg it doesnât matter MG42 100 wonât kill me in one hit even at 0m.
Only time where MG42 100 has advantage is when you are using bipod but you are a stationary target and easy to hit once you kill a first person carrying RD-44.
Ha! Slightly poor handling results in higher damage and a rate difference of 170, which is really a good deal.
Yeah much harder than RD-44 you need to burst to hit something after initial few shots, and while moving you wonât hit anything. While RD-44 can spray for entirety of itâs magazine and also dance while shooting in ADS and not lose accuracy.
Dmg is the same as both kill in two hits vs vitality users and 170 rpm is nothing when RD-44 is vastly more accurate and can spray for eternity while MG42 100 has to stop which make itâs effective rof much lower
this deal is worth of 0.02 seconds.
This is like saying IS2 is by far better thank KT2 because its slightly larger and can protect infantry better with its hull.
