Definitely not. There are so many other option that could take its place. MP 717 should keep its exclusivity.

Increase all missing upgrades to the MG42 and other MGs to make them unique

Probably none when it comes to function like shooting, reload animation and sound, but they don’t really have icon and buy weapon art. 10mins of work and it could be added. But i guess it’s too hard for their devs gotta spend more time on new premiums. Made new thread heart it maybe devs going to see it
You can use the SJR because the one in the video is the Premium one.
Except premium one is a different weapon with different model (with no flash hider). SJR is a separate gun.

I would rather see RD44 not getting the special treatment.
intermediate cartridge MGs are post war stuff, and adding more to them will always feel wrong.
I think only the assaulters can use it like only the ones that can use SMGs and not the other troops and make it where larger bullets wont get affected by the 10% armor buff
if it was only squad of assault engineers(historically used them) then it would be ok. but definitely not for every soldier class and as cosmetic. reasonable alternative that was suggested is to be made into bag slot so you would choose between ammo bag, grenade bag or armor.
this change would only remove problem from high BR, but it would still be problem on low BR where SMG are mainly used. it would still be balance issue if it was only available for one nation.
the zk 423 was literally designed in 1943, it IS NOT post war stuff
