Then you clearly have not played the M2 Carbine. Try it and give it an objective chance, then come back to us so we can be impartial about this. The Carbine is better in every circumstance, due to dispersion at range, as well as desync and recoil at CQC. The magazine sizes doesn’t really matter because the carbine is just that good.

The current situation is kinda easy to understand:
From the beginning the devs thought 100/0 Vickers vs 20/40 FG 42 with 3 nades were balanced.
And I have to agree it was.
But quite soon after release of the first paratroopers (Allies with Vickers) the players (and the devs eventually) understand that 100/0 is not very optimally.
So they buffed Vickers. And now when Axis’ paratroopers been released it’s all of a sudden unbalanced (compared to what it originally would’ve been).
My reflection:
It’s hard to balance big mag vs low mag weapons in general. Vickers in its nature are cursed. It’s either 100/0 or 100/100.
What do to do? Add spare ammo to FG of course. What’s fair ? Imo 20/60 - cuz I find FG so much better and versatile. But maybe even 20/80 as ppl seems to struggle with this wunderwaffe.
