AVS36, or AVT40?

Hey so… Is there a reason to use AVT40 instead of AVS36 now? The AVS has no longer any recoil, and it does MORE damage than AVT40…

weird suggestion:

  • swap AVS36 damage values, with AVT40 damage values?

it just feels strange to me that a later unlock in worse than a previous one…

OR

  • Give the AVT40 a 20 rounds magazine already?

AVT still has superior sights. At least for me. I am not really comfortable with sights of AVS.

Nothing new in Enlisted. T-34/85 vs SU-85M and many others…

I asked this question last week, and most people who responded me confirmed that AVS was now better than AVT.

Of course sight can be a thing to consider.

It was like that since Stalingrad campaign, you could unlock T-34 STZ with upgraded frontal armor and more slopped turret armor faster than T-34 1941 that was a late unlock and was obviously inferior to the STZ.

I used to not be too fond of AVS sight but now, when you hold the trigger, AVS visualy goes a lil backwards and the sight gets visually better, while staying on target (NO recoil, really).

When firing, AVS sight is now perfect :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

But yes… late BR is so strange to me… all SF weaponry for all factions now, have such strange modifiers…

I’m sure they won’t Soviets suffer for long, AVT-40 will eventually get a nice 20 round mag.

Sovs NEVER suffered, but yes, it’s the only logical conclusion. Because right now AVS is better in all aspects, a 20 rounds magazine would solve that issue.

But I have a hunch it will be 30 :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Did it have 30 round mags? The biggest I know of is only 25 rounds which is already quite big.

25 mags are unideal since you can’t have a total of 60 rounds like other factions.
Unless you get two mags and 2 stripper clips. Which would be kinda funny.

they either round up, or down. Idk if there was 30 or not, or 25. I just got a hunch it might be higher than 20.

I’ll probably stay with AVS anyway, I like more damage over more bullets.

I will stay with my AVT-40s, I already own 15 max upgraded of them while I only have 5 AVS maxed.

AVS is better now, but not by much, it’s not worth the investment if you already have AVT’s but 0 AVS’

AVS overall better now, i tested them both

I think the recoil pattern is also an important factor to consider which weapon is better. Both of these weapons have a similar recoil pattern that kick upward to the right, but one have more horizontal recoil than the other.

120 rounds, full auto, -40% vertical recoil perk, shot from less than 10 m

Spoiler

Image 02: AVS 46

The AVT-40 have less horizontal recoil but the AVS 46 recoil pattern is more consistent. The AVS 46 recoil pattern kick up and to the right in an almost straight line while the AVT-40 pattern can sometime have a curve after a few rounds are fired continuously.

Wait it deals more damage than AVT40 now? Thats weird I guess…

It always did. But AVT used to be easier to control.

With the recent huge -75% recoil bonus to AVS, both are pretty much as easy to use as one another… so it’s better to use AVS if you haven’t invested in AVT already.

Which is why I suggest to either swap damage values between the two, or give a 20 rounds magazine to AVT.

What Automatic Rifles is their only weak point and now they gonna remove even that

They had a weakness? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

well AVS and AVT are not the best compared to their LMGs and SMGs and the AK they are the weakest link but if they gonna give them more ammo game over xD

Always has been I believe. AVT40 only superior on sight and visual recoil (+tiny but better dispersion). AVS should be the go to if u min-maxing id think.
