I find the class restrictions in BR5 very arbitrary, STG or FG are in no way better or worse, they have different playstyles. The literally only reason why FG has issues is Soviet body armor, simply because it isn’t a full size rifle anymore.

AVT and T20 both are heavy hitters, FG isn’t - specifically ONLY against armor.

I know that you believe this isn’t relevant, but as someone who likes both guns equally, I hate that I have no reason to use it over STG.

The main problem of AR compared to SF that even at longer Range SF would most likely be able to hit their target cause better dispersion while most AR with few exception like Fedorov, MkB 42 M, Horn StG have worse dispersion making shots at longer range less accurate (Imo with addition of BR rating AR should have some buff to it’s base dispersion which atleast would make it worth using for longer range engagement)

It’s an unattainable goal when people can just dogpile onto single faction and blow out it’s win rate by stacking and playing effectively PvE lol

I was able to train with the Y45N clan, so yes, AVT40 and ABC36 really have an advantage over FG422. However, this topic is not so simple and I understand why many consider FG422 better.

The ideal Soviet fighter with a cuirass is able to survive two hits, so the FG422 only uses half of its ammunition in the magazine, and the AVT40 is capable of killing with every shot.

The problem is that the Soviet community does not use cuirass in battles, and the presence of a large number of unleveled players completely removes the advantage of the cuirass. And fg422 gains an advantage over such players who are not able to resist it. Combined with a meager research tree and weak tanks, the Soviet community received a strong blow to their pride and created a cult of oppression around it.

No this game is suposed to be a PVP with some pve elements and giving adventages to certain factions while handicaping the other one will just result that player with common sense will stack on the faction with overpowered stuff (take as an example when the stinger was released which literally made revive br 5 allies if df really wanted to balance the things why when they released the stinger half of the playerbase stacked br 5 allies???

giving overpowered stuff/adventages will no solve ANYTHING will just increase the disbalance on public games, instead DF should have done something like this: similar recoil and damage with both fg42-T20 basically turning the weapons in exactly the same with different appereance

and when it comes to the playerbase DF must be forcing the ppl to at least build rallies on games they should replace the sniper squad with an engginier one, when you beggin, they should encourage the players to play the objective and if DF is lazy to make tutorials they could implement a community page in game interface like the clash royale/clash of clans one where content creators could share their videos and guides for this game because there is HUNDREDS of videos with all the stuff this playerbase needs to learn

As i mentioned alredy muiltple times this only applies to public games not customs where avs and avt are in weird a hard way to explain better than fg42

as i mentioned on the first quote handicaping a faction or buffing one will not solve the problem than make it worse

somehow it could make the gameplay quite more variated on both casual and competitive scenes but im pretty sure that this would cause more troubles in some way…

So what would removing a disadvantage of a faction with a playerbase advantage improve?

People are always blind to their own strengths, but are particularly impressed when they suffer.
I play BRV any faction 90% of the time, so I do know (and you admit too) german factoin have playerbase advantage, therefore I support most of the actions that makes the avarge winrate closer to 50/50.

And then we end up not playing a PvP game anymore and the Soviets and allies who reached the end of everything have no more challenge when their enemy has been handicapped.

So overall great job the idea destroys the enemy for the Soviets and the allies and they have no reason to stay in this game anymore unless they wanna beat up bots And the Soviets and the allies wonder why it’s so hard retaining any of their veterans.

If that’s the case, playerbase will naturally move towards the “eazy faction”.
Than we will have the new playerbase advantage faction and new balcance actions, over and over again.
Most people don’t like challenges, they like easy wins, that’s how balance works.

what kind of horror is that??? making the things easy for a team while for thhe other is harder will just make ppl with actual brain stack the team which is easiest

brain dead ppl should learn how to play instead of getting unfair adventages that affects the balance on public games so… answer to me if the ““pros””" from the faction that have adventage use the stuff that is supposed to help the brain dead ppl and abuse that weapon or mechanic will not that turn everything on a massive disbalance??? see what happened to stinger sweats were literally sniping ppl across the whole freaking map with that thing that was supposed to help to revive US player base while germany and japanese we not even able to defend themselves with a proper counter

no no we won’t because of this stupid system we have an unusual amount of Germans and Japanese and the other camps because they’re stuck climbing a mountain while the Soviets and allies are rushing through everything because of how easy everything is so there’s no way for us to keep up a healthy ecosystem.

So this player base needs to accept some facts Germany and Japan are being handicapped on purpose and thanks to that we can’t retain any players or give the Soviets and allies any competition so we wanna fix anything Germany and Japan need to be treated properly or we’re gonna be stuck in this death cycle.

But then again most of the people in this forum are all brain damage and they thought the old days of Moscow were perfectly fine when they weren’t but yet the Germans still thrived because we’re stubborn like that.

even if axis have better players that doesnt mean that a handicap should be given to that faction

No what you are saying is wrong because instead of stacking we will end up just reaching Burnout a lot faster and that’s why the Soviets and the allies are stuck in their death cycle because of how overpowered they are.

The only ones who benefit from that are the rejects from COD and rainbow 6 siege and considering their rejects to begin with they’re happy to have anything.

You’re technically right and you’re technically wrong with that answer and if you’re wondering what I’m talking about it’s because of how the system is set up we do have an unusual player base but we have a lot more diehards who have held out but we’ve also lost quite a lot.

And when we look at the Soviets or the allies their system was just perfect and they had Jack of all trade weapons which made their players burnout a lot faster and find they have no competition and when start running deft stacks with their friends they find out this game is really boring when the enemies can’t even put up a fight.

Thats their own doing for making enemies not worth the fight like I said balance yeah right.

We do have an advantage in player numbers if nothing else but that’s about it

And the reason why we get nothing is because DF can’t seem to have any idea of how to fix the game except over saturate the Soviets and the allies which makes an unhealthy system and make it so the Soviets and allies can’t retain anything so they’ll always keep giving the Soviets and the allies stuff but they don’t realize they’re killing them.
