Anything that promotes balance gets vote from me.
However im quite sure more drastic measures are required to stop the one sided curbstomping in certain campaigns.

I dont think people realize what a matchmaker is. We dont have enough players without mm, do you think splitting up players will help the current barely alive playerbase?

Overhauling how campaigns work and consolidating the player base instead of adding more causing more division would certainly help.

I suggested that multiple times.( last time was in a previous post today)
DF giving us a %exp bonus would help underpopulated campaings by bringing a lot of people back.
My Axis Moscow is sitting at lvl20 or so untouched for 2 updates cause I’m no masochist. Give me 50-75% (or more)exp if I’m fighting in the underdog faction and I will play it again.
Don’t think it’s gonna happen though.
DF clearly listens to the community, however it seems to do so only when some player is offended by a historical tank camo and only for some nations.

i would like for squads to have tiers. so you get matched with your highest tier squad. that way you could have some enjoyable BA battles without worrying about semi auto and auto spam…
but then again DF wont do it cause you need to grind same weapon for nth time every time they add new campaign.

Agreed, but unless we act like offended victims, DF just does not act. I’m suggesting baby steps, so easy to do that DF has no excuse whatsoever not doing it.

Good idea and I like to see a 75% xp Booster for anyteam and 150% for any team any camping (I understand people can leave to get that 150 % in camping they want, maybe 5 game limits per day)
The latest event was just like that - massive boost in exp ( was 400% or something like that) and you got to play a random side in a random campaign with random squads and weapons.
I think the whole community loved it, apart from the stupid time limit.
DF could have made the event available for longer or even left it permanent and nobody would have complained.
but that boost in exp was just an illusion… they put it there to promote their premium stuff… so you know what you could be earning if you had premium+stalingrad…

Anyway, I’ve completed the Stalingrad campaign in under 25 games for allies and 50 for axis so any %boost in exp wouldn’t have to be crazy like that.
50-100% would be fine.
when i first saw xp i was so happy cause i thought i could farm bronze orders… but at least i leveled up few basic squads in campaigns i didnt play…
Honestly something is always better than nothing, but I don’t think going the route of “here have some more digital points for having to suffer through sweaty 4-stacks with PPSh-41”.
The most logical way of balancing things would be
a. making “play any faction in any campaign” matchmaking option the default option (with ability to uncheck unwanted campaigns/factions for those who really care, but with less XP)
b. introducing an actual team balancer: equal average campaign level for both teams, equal average military rank for both teams, equal average XP/min for both teams, equal average K/D for both teams - in priority order
c. locking 4-stacks from playing against solo players (either wait for another 4-stack or split 2 and 2 between opposing factions for balance)

We weren’t offended enough.
It’s why I’m proposing something so simple to do for them that they have no reason not doing it whatsoever. So that if they don’t, we can bash the greedy bastards freely even more
