Assault is a dead mode it is replaced by destruction for some hidden reason, currently we have only 3 Assault

cause it sucks. depending on the server it is almost impossible to win, unless you get tryhard squad, or MM gods have mercy on you and get you few good players. even godlike players cant carry solo on assault (unless on defense).
for normal teams that usually only have 1 rally point that you built, it is almost impossible to concurrently take 2 points at the same time. specially on campaigns where there is sizable player difference between sides. at least with destruction when you take the site, you only need to defend it for period of time before it is taken and then you can concentrate on the other one.

Destruction is more unbalanced than assault, a noob team can simply camp a bomb site and spam explosive for win, assault at least need some brain

We already have some versions of same maps with assault, bomb and conquest gamemodes…
And these versions didn’t included to maplist, but still in files.
Tbh some of they looks good. Some of they are unfinished currently time.
Here also bigger assault/invasion version of same maps in berlin.

Assault is a INSTAQUIT mode for me from the day one, impossible to win without coordinated team, which is almost impossible to do, while defenders only have to concetrate on defending one point, and switching to the other one once the first is lost while the attackers have to split themselves between two points…
Would work in clan battles maybe, but until then ,is better to be avoided unless feeling extremely masochistic.

I love assault, add more. You can win as attackers and defenders easily
idk what server you are playing on, but on EU as allies on normandy it is almost impossible. sometimes you can get some good teams, but on servers/campaigns with player disparity it is terrible.
I’ve won as allies on assault, the last point is the mansion
yes you can win it, but 90% of the time it is just futile to even attempt it. specially when you get team where only one who builds rally points is you.
Teams who lose assault will lose invsion and destruction too.
there is difference there. on other modes 1 player can carry, on assault it is impossible to be on 2 sites at the same time…
Not really. I tried it multiple times in Destruction and it didnt worked. Same goes for Invasion. Im currently getting ass-beated in Berlin Defence as I am the only defender here.
you cant carry every match. sometimes enemy team also has good players and if your team sucks you cant do anything on any game mode.
but there is difference. with shitty teams i will lose assault 90% of the time, destruction 60% of time and invasion about 40-50% of time.
