Are some people using Mouse autofiring?

Yesterday I played a game on Moscow, where someone had a G41 SA rifle, they were firing it so fast, I thought it was a sniper MKB (by watching tracers), on speaking to another person in my clan he said maybe people can use mouse macros to speed up fire rate on certain guns.

I’m not singling out anyone, but I want to know if this is something that would get picked up by the anticheat software (unlikely as no game input)

It is not first time I have seen SA rifles fired so fast like assault rifles, even though I thought devs reduced the fire rate on SAs, it could be lag, the player could have equipped MKB, run out of ammo and changed to G41 (very quickly), but my gut feeling is it was a mouse macro…

Is this a valid tactic, I don’t think so.

Firing rapidly with G41/G43 and not having “ghost shots”, that feels extremely sus.

In basically every case, fast firing from those weapons wouldn’t be even worth it.

He was able to pinpoint me with a hail of bullets, hence I thought it was sniper MKB, it was suss, I will keep an eye out for that player again.

Not sure what you mean by ghost shots, is that misses due to dispersion?

Most likely yes. I honestly don’t know what’s causing the guns to behave that way.
From my experience, when I’ve shot fast at very close range (± 10m), I’ve just been able to miss a few shots that I would have otherwise clearly hit with any other gun.

So it’s extremely sus if he’s been so effective while firing so fast.

G41 shouldn´t be able to pull of such a laser show, Im positive that this isn´t normal unless as you said, he had an MKB.
Check replay perhaps?

People can write a script to turn semi auto to auto, i.e. a script for turning a mouseDown to multiple mousePress with a sleep timer in between, the fire rate will still be capped by the weapon fire rate property.

is it possible? yes. and quite easily with programs like autohotkey or autoclicker.
does anti cheat software detect it? idk. some programs like authotkey can have legitimate uses, but it could also be abused. it probably depends on what macro/script you are running in autohotkey (or similar program).

if player is using it only to spam left mouse button, then it is no problem. but if he is using it to spam left mouse button and has no recoil script then it is very big problem.

You don’t even need macros to effectively double your (THEORETICAL) semiauto ROF, you just need to assign the firing command both to left mouse press AND release.

That, of course, wouldn’t bring any help with recoil control, nor would it be able to exceed the weapon’s ROF cap.

Sad to say, this is an issue thats not just on M&K. Its also been seen on console through the usage of “Elite” controllers.

I think mods in that case would be detected by easy AntiCheat.
Besides:
I can click that fast as well. But 8 out of 10 bullets will fly somewhere completely else LMAO.

A question regarding this: when I fast-tap any semi-auto in this game it’s seems normal. Same with stuff like Mkb. But when I tap-fire a weapon like FG-42 some taps doesn’t seems to be registered, and there’s a kind of lag/period of no bullets fired.

I tried to figured this out in practice mode to be sure my tapping is continuously and in rhythm. But still …

Any idea what this is about?

Already tried to test this out myself. I can’t reproduce it constantly.
I assume it’s server desynchronization but can’t say for sure. I am on it.

Thanks.
Shouldn’t be a server-issue per se since it is in practice mode, anyway?

even if anti-cheat didn’t exist devs could easily patch it out. A good example I have of this is Gran Turismo 7, back when that game first came out, using the ps4 to PC remote play app on the computer and streaming GT7 you could run a gt7 macro on the PC desktop background and it would help drive the car around a track making it possible to get rich within a few hrs without doing any work, they very quickly patched it out so macros don’t work on GT7 anymore. GT7 is also online only so just like that game the devs of enlisted could easily patch it out if they had no anti-cheat. macros nowadays are kinda pointless with online games.

I remember the old call of duty games, where you could set your “fire button” to work on your mouse wheel.

Turning your mouse wheel would then result in a 50 cal sniper rifle with 1000 rounds per minute fire rate.

Maybe this is something similar?
