As a small buff to grenade launchers since they aren’t particularly that lethal compared to other explosives or really used often. Being able to attach and detach the launcher attachment a little more quickly can definitely be helpful for grenade launcher focused squads.
but i noticed that you can put the barrel, load a new grenade, and remove the barell.
everytime you will put it back, ( once loaded ) the grenade will remain attached to the barell and you will not have to load it twice, just mount or unmount the barell and it will be ready to be used at any moment, and easy to reload if you are running to reposition your self.
i thout it was a nice detail and i’m certain it’s new.
The subjectivity is shared by 99% of the player. I don’t remember when was the last time I was killed by a grenade.
Explosive pack can kill outside the warning radius, that is already abherent. They are way more efficient than grenades.
You can just throw the grenade more far, that the only useless advantage of a nade.

You must be right “soldier 1” and “soldier 2”. But still soldier… my point stay the same. They are the worst member of a squad, you just pick them to fill thr gaps.

If you use pouch grenade, why take 2 grenade and 1 explosive pack when you can have … 3 explosive pack?
Nah, I disagree, grenade is much better than Detpack for me. No time for the enemy to throwback, clear room every time. Nobody talk about the “shell shock” effect, even if there is no kill, I can clear room much easier.
In fact I equip my trooper with grenade pack and carry 2 grenade with 1 Detpack. Got several squad wipe in CQC easily.
( sometimes i do, but the majority, when i see structures made of engineers or window/doors )
in the meanwhile, someone dies.
the problem with explosive pack, if you don’t have the perk for throwing them that far, you are kinda limited and potentially waste yar life of your soldier.
i mean, you can always suicide if that’s what you are up to, but it’s nice to have different equipment to get the job done.
less range though, so it depends what you are looking for.
not to pint point, but i can say that countless time those " useless advantages " are not that useless after all.

Yeah I noticed that myself but when I have like 6 troopers with grenade launchers, it makes it quite tedious to do D: I wish they all just came auto-equiped so I didn’t have to load it every time prior to use.

I claim it’s true but maybe I’m wrong. It’s just a strong feeling I have.
Explosive pack are so powerfull that you can sometime just guess where the ennemy is and get between 1 and 5 kills if you are lucky. It’s too powerfull.
Grenade has less radius, so you never that lucky, you have to know precisly where the ennemy is.
Even if you know there is ennemy in the objective, you just fuse the explosive pack, wait a little, lunch it in the general direction, and boom, 3 kills.
well, i see people using grenades, and i’m one of them.
i don’t kill alot of people from them like, perhaps from 10 to 20 kills per game, which it ain’t much, but that is something as i’m not someone who likes to use grenades unless it’s strictly necessary.
i see people using alots of grenades when it comes to normandy, berlin and moscow.
that’s… the point of a grenade?
but again, it comes from preferences.
but it is a bit bold to state that grenades are worthless.
